My heart stop beating

Lena's point of view

When I woke up , he was gone . I shifted my posture and use my fingers to brush my hair. Suddenly the last words he said to me before I slept flashed across my mind.

I smell myself and blinked Three times , surely it was a dream I had last night . " Another of my dreams for him" I inquired of myself , since that circumstances was not new to me. I swung my eyes to the now fixed door, I them peer out the window , unaware that I had spent an excessive time sleeping .

I extended my hand and made my bones ring. I walked out the door hoping to locate someone , since I couldn't remain in the room for long without speaking to anyone.

The lycan seems confidence that I would not flee because the guards were now gone.

I had no idea where my feet would lead me to, I just want to leave the palace not to return to my dwelling but to see the stars. I lifted my head to search for the meaningful stars lines.

" How come I'm not seeing anything right now? Is rain coming ?" I murmured to myself already aware of the bugs buzzing in my ears.

Nevertheless , I almost jumped when someone spoke in my ear.

" It seems you have plenty of time stargazing tonight ?" I swiftly turned my head and heard a lively voice from behind.

I saw Xander's cousin and if I remember correctly , Xander refered to him as Damon. Even in the dim light , the outline of his body was visible to my eyes .this is the first time I've been taken aback by another man's physique . Xander is the only body i often dream about.

Ehem! Lena , get a grip of yourself.

I closed my eyes due to the thought , why is Xander still in my head while I'm with another man?

" I just woke up , the room was so quiet , so I considered stepping outside to get some fresh air." I didn't inform him that I was sleeping in Xander's room because I didn't want him to think of something meaningless.

" Are you on the lookout for something?" He asked still he arrived at my spot.

" Yeah" my brief response to him.

" Permit me to assist you in finding the star sign " he drew closer and closer to me till there was no more room. He grasped my shoulder and encircled it with his arm. " Do you see that?" He directed his finger upwards and to the right , when I examined what he was referring to, I saw a straight line with a slight curve at the end.

" Did you know that the lycan is often linked with Aries the consolation star?" He turned to face me but I kept my gaze fixed on what he pointed out,he carried on speaking.

" Because Aries is courageous, assertive and brave but also reckless at times as if he were a leader who desired the success of his inhabitants "

" Then the king of the lycan is...."

" The ruler of the lycan must not be an Aries..." before I could complete what I was saying, my speech was cut off by someone . Damon was the first to turn around , moreover he withdrew his arm off my shoulders , I then change position and turned my attention to Xander who talk . I raised a brow at him and saw his annoyed expression.

" What are you referring to Xander?" Damon asked as I remain mute , I allow them to converse since am just an omega and avoiding high ranking discourse. I had prepared to leave and going to pass Xander when he grabbed my left hand while Damon grabbed my right as well.

" Remain here" Xander who was not please with my desire to go said .

" Don't leave" Damon who seems to be still interested in telling me tails about the stars said.

" Release her " Xander reiterated that he would not accept a "no" for an answer .

" First and foremost, what's wrong with what I've told her?" Damon talk to him proudly . It is usual for high ranking to behave in this manner.

Xander pulled my hand firmly, causing my face to collide with his chest . I abruptly touched his rock chest , and he embraced me with one of his hands, preventing me from escaping.

" Because a true ruler must be a pisces . As with pisces the king must be unselfish, caring and innovative to execute the technique . To keep your subject secured , you must have a sound strategy in place to ensure their safety " he was brimming with pride when he stated that, and his actions made my heart race. Damon laughed loudly but I detected cynicism in his laughter.

" I am aware of your plans Damon , if you want to succeed over me , you'd be wise first to understand what a genuine leader should possess " I could sense Xander's rage with each words he let out.

I saw Damon's furry as he walked away , he did not turn to us and continue straight forward . I wanted to ask Xander what plans he was referring to but realized that I was in no position to express or questions like that.

Xander freed me and departed first , I made significant steps to follow him and came dangerously close falling .

" Xander wait" my voice reverberated down the corridor as I addressed him but he didn't even paused in his strides.

"Xander" I called his name again

"Xande...."I was unable to continue speaking because a hand was already pushing my face and lips.

" You need to address me as prince Xander ,do not refer to it as casual just because you have previously felt the comfort of my bed "

Rather than being terrified and incensed about what he said, embarrassment and heat engulfed my whole face . When he mentioned the term " bed", I understood it would have a different connotation for various wolves that could hear it.

" W...what." I smacked him hard on the face and dashed to his room. Even I...I was taken aback by what I had done but my heart would not stop beating.
