It had been a long journey from my house to the ship.
“I'm hungry… and tired,” William said and I heard my stomach rumble.
“Yes, me too, “ I replied but then the feelings both disappeared when I spotted Mia waiting for us on the deck.
"Mia, I'm so glad to see you!" I rushed over to hug her.
She grinned and hugged me back, tighter. "It's good to see you too, my dearest friend!"
"Is everything prepared for the journey?" William asked, looking around the deck.
Mia nodded. "Everything’s ready. We're just waiting for the captain to give the order to set sail."
