Ava's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, feeling William's chest beneath me.
“What happened?” I racked my brain for an answer but then I remembered, “Oh, I fell asleep on William last night.”
I sat up slowly, my eyes adjusting to the light from the window.
I glanced at William, who was still sleeping beside me. I smiled. “I’m glad to have you here, William. Even though we were in such a dangerous situation.”
As I looked down at my nightgown, I suddenly realized that it had come undone. Now, my navel, crotch, and legs were fully exposed. I felt a flush of embarrassment wash over me as I said to myself, “I have to fix this quickly, without waking up William.”
