Mia's POV Ava and I walked along the beach. It was a beautiful day, with a clear blue sky and a warm sun shining down on us. Despite that, my mind was still preoccupied with the events of the past few hours. I couldn't help but think about William's ex-girlfriend. “How can someone be so cruel? Why would she target me, a complete stranger, when she could have just as easily gone after William?
