CHAPTER 14: REVENGE

Tina and Ranvijay were on the top floor of the restaurant while enjoying the view of the city and talking about casual things, when they noticed a man in formal attire came running in the park and it looked like he was searching for someone over there.

The man was Pranay, he was looking so desperate, while calling someone on the phone continuosly. He was calling Tina, but she didn't pick his call up. She already placed her phone on silent mode and was glancing at Pranay from the huge celling to floor window of the restaurant from time to time.

Ranvijay wanted to ask her that will she meet him or would keep him waiting, but then thought of letting go of the topic as he remembered her previous reaction when he brought Pranay's topic in between their happy conversation.

He stood up and went to the restroom and let Tina order for both of them. When he came back, Tina had already ordered for both of them but to his suprise not something she liked but she ordered his favourite dish that Ranvijay hadn't even told her about.

"I ordered some fancy grass, the waiter told me that its their speciality." she was still looking at the menu, trying to ignore Ranvijay's gaze that was set on her.

"How do you know that it is my favourite?"

"Knowing my husband's....no , no boyfriend's choice is not that difficult though" she said smiling widely at him.

Ranvijay was also happy seeing her taking interest in trying to know his choices rather than forcing her choices on him like every other girl. They both were talking about their hobbies when Ranvijay suddenly remembered that he was still not aware that where Tina lives.

"By the way, forgot to ask you that where do you live? Where do I need to drop you after this and pick you up from?" he smirked at her

"I thought you already know where I live, aren't you the one who told me that everything that you want comes your way automatically??" she loves teasing Ranvijay and that was what she was doing.

"Oh, that.. Yes but for now please would you like to pardon me by telling where do you live?"

"Ofcourse, right now I live in the suburbs but.. now I don't feel like living in that house anymore." her all happy mood suddenly became a bit sad.

"And why is that, but changing the house is a good idea as it is straight an hour drive from my home. It will be a hectic schedule if you live in that house for both of us." Ranvijay tried his best to ease the atmosphere.

Ranvijay wanted to know what was the reason that Tina didn't want to live in her house, he was aware she bought that house herself of her own money, so why was she insisting in leaving the house was confusing him.

"I just don't want to go to there anymore. I promised you I'll be honest with you, so I would like to tell you th reason only if you want to know." she tried her best to suppress the anxiety she was feeling in her only.

Ranvijay could feel that she was struggling with her on self thinking how he would react once she has told him what she wanted to say, so to ease her stree and to make her feel nice he decided to let her know what he has in his heart

"Do you know what Tina, I have something to tell you, I want you to know that...

I promise... I promise to be there for you. I promise to listen to you. I promise to hold you in your worst and help you stand and pass through it. I promise to love you till I die." he said every single word with so much sincerity, the look on his face was enough to tell that how much he means everything that he just said.

His words were so powerful and the way he uttered all those made Tina emotional. Tears started to pool around her eyes which she was just holding at the bay, making sure she doesn't want to cry anymore. Then she changed her tone and asked playfully to him:

"Ranvijay you are trusting me so much with your feelings, what if I broke your trust one day?" she was expecting him to get mad at her or laugh at her question but his answer made her heart more swell and overwhelmed at the same time.

"Trusting you is my decision. Proving me wrong is your choice." his eyes glittered as he held.her hand on top of the table and sia each word making sure she gets his emphasis.

"Ok, then Mr Rawat I'll make sure never to prove you wrong." she said sniffing due to the emotional outburst that his words caused her.

"You are really cute, when you are sniffing." he said looking at his beautiful partner trying to wipe her tears.

–"By the way, now could you please grant me the reason for not wanting to live in that house"? he said seriously.

Tina also looked him directly in his eyes, not wanting to hide anything from him. Or what she was thinking –"what have you done to me Mr. Rawat, why can't I hide anything from you? Why do I feel like you need to everything about me? This never happened to me before, I was always able to hide my emotions until you came into my life. What have you done to me in such a short time? But none the less, I must admit it to you some time that I love it when I am with you, I feel like I am my own self."

Tina was lost in her thoughts about hmm when Ranvijay snapped her out of her thoughts raising his brow, signalling that he is waiting to tell her the truth.

"RV, that was my first house, the house that was my dream home. I bought it with my own hard earned money, but right,... today I don't even want to spend more time in that house because it is the same place that will haunt me forever, my past that won't let me sleep be it Pranay and Yousufa or my parents. That house was selected by Pranay and interior and everything was according to him, I don't want to have him near me from now on. I will just buy a new place and shift there ASAP." she was serious but continued to speak after a second after looking at Ranvijay as she was able to read his mind.

–"but I am myself going to pay for my house you don't need to do anything regarding that, I don't need to take any obligation from you regarding this matter please Ranvijay, I really hope you understand. True me I will make you really proud one day, just stand by me." there was a unsaid emotion in her eyes, which she hoped he would understand.

"No need to explain to me Tina, I'll stand by you and I really do wanted to help but its ok, but I still hope I can help find you a new place and even help with shifting, some romance is what you must be needing while setting up your new place." he teased her to lighten the atmosphere.

"Ofcourse, you have to help me in shifting that was not even a question, but I need to look for a new condominium soon, I can't bare that place more." desperation evident in her eyes.

"Don't worry regarding that, I'll ask Ronit to find you anew apartment, if that is what you need you can just relax and inspect the apartment once he finds one according to you and near to my place also, where you rae living right now is almost an hour and half distance from mine. Thank god for your idea of changing the place otherwise I had to travel that long distance daily to see you, won't be that nice to me though, but I had still come to see you that's for sure." he smiled at the thought and also seeing Tina's furrowed brows.

"I really never pegged you as a person like this."

"Like what?" he raised his brow this time.

"Like this cool and player of words definitely, you are like someone who has read or even better to say, memorized thousands of love quotes."

"Do you know what, since you said this, I know you are talking about Pranay like this just because you are angry with him. Once your anger will cool down you won't behave like this." there was a sudden sadness in his eyes and his voice even cracked as he continued speaking

"And that's where my fear begins, fear that I will loose you, fear that you will leave me regretting for getting into this marriage, this relationship."

"And do you know,... once someone told me that – going back to an old relationship is like rewatching a movie and expecting a different ending. I don't re-watch movies Ranvijay and leaving you is not an option, now or never unless and until you want me out of your life." she tried her best to assure him that she is here and not going to leave. –"now please, no more being sad. Just let's go I am now really tired, drop me home and I guess you should also rest, aren't you tired with your meetings for the whole day?"

"Nah,!!! spending time with you is destressing for me. I love it, but....–" he looked down from the window, staring the man waiting for Tina since last one and half an hour looking really stressed and torn out. –"don't you have to meet Pranay, or are you planning to just let him keep waiting for you over there?"

"Let him wait, I ma in no mood to talk to him and, I don't want to waste even a single second with him if I can spend that time with you. Now if your questions are done can we please leave?!!"

Ranvijay just nodded and paid the bill instantly and left the restaurant. He didn't insist Tina in meeting Pranay as deep down in his heart he also wanted that she shouldn't meet him.

Pranay was waiting for Tina on the same bench where Tina used to sit and wait for him for hours straight, she wanted him to face the same pain that she has endured in these last 3 years of their relationship. He was calling her continuously but she just kept her phone on silent and threw it on the back seat of the car as soon as they entered the car.

Ranvijay revived the engine and sped the car giving a last glance to Pranay who was still in the park. Tina was staring at Pranay, anger was evident in her eyes and Ranvijay instantly noticed it. He was aware that Tina was not happy, looking ta Pranay might have reminded her, of her past, but he intends to make her happy.

He held her hand and took it towards his mouth kissing her knuckles, his eyes were still focused on the road, he gave her a quick glance still holding her hand before speaking

"Tina, don't harbor ill feelings for anyone, neither Pranay. Karma says , Everything happens for a reason. Don't think too much, trust the process. Everything will be okay very soon." he kissed her hand once more.

"Have I ever told you RV that you can be an amazing poet and could you please do me a favour!! of kindly telling me where do you get all these quotes from?!!" Tina was really amazed by the poetic skills of Ranvijay.

"Ok, so I take it as a compliment" he just shrugged.

Tina was looking at Ranvijay with eyes full of compassion and somehow deep down she was lost in the world of her fantasy seeing Ranvijay's face and muscles flex as he changed the gears. Her eyes were fixed in his face which he also noticed then asked her :

"Why are you looking at me like that? Planning to do something to me, huh?!!" he smirked at her.

Tina's POV

I was continuously looking at him, he was attracting me so much to him. His aura, appearance, way of talking, the way he thinks about me, the way he cares for me, each and everything about him is drawing me to him more and more with each passing second. The more time I am spending with him the more drawn I feel towards him.

The way he consoles me, the way he make me understand things that I am going to do wrong, it's just great all in all. He looked towards me and smiled, damn it!! he is not helping me at all in keeping my desires at bay.

I averted my gaze from him and looked towards the street that is completely blank. There were no cars and people on the street as it was already past midnight. The street thta we were on was basically a narrow lane that doesn't attract traffic after eight in the evening.

Now I can't control myself more, I basically pressurized him to stop the car instantly and when he obliged he turned in my direction

"What happened–" he was cut in mid sentence as I moved forward and placed my lips on his. I don't know what I was doing, my body seemed to be not listening to my brain. I was so attracted to him that my body reacted on its own accord.

I placed a soft kiss on his lips and before loosing my mind I immediately snapped out of my thoughts and moved back only to be stopped by him.

He held the back of my neck stopping me from moving away, he held me from one hand and from the other pressed some button in the car. I was already drowning in his gaze but realised what he did when he came closer to me. He was always cautious of the paparazzi around us, so he always made sure we are never spotted in public. The glasses of the car were slowly getting covered in black tint so that no one could come to know who is inside and when the tint completely covered the glass he leaned in and passionately kissed me, leaving me breathless.

"Don't expect me to stop after what you just did. You are the one to be blamed and you have to take the responsibilities." he said and I watched his eyes turned dark.

Before I could open my mouth to speak something, he pulled me capturing my mouth roughly for a passionate kiss, which blew my mind away as I clutched his collor for.my dear life.

I moaned through the kisses as his hand touched every part of my body in his reach.

"Tina please stop me!! otherwise it would not be good for both of us. Stop me Tina its not right, not here for sure." he was panting as he spoke in between our kisses.

I obliged to him this time and pushed him back, he looked at me and started driving again. In no time we reached my apartment and before letting Ranvijay inside my apartment, I went inside to clean all the things that belongs to Pranay. There were not a lot of his belongings as he never stayed there for long.

He has never really cared about me, was all that I could think of from the situation in front of me.
