CHAPTER 5: POWER OF MONEY

Everything seemed to happen so quickly. Tina was standing in front of the stage and the audience were talking what she wanted. They were suspecting that she was not Yousufa. The media knew that Yousufa was injured and the lady standing in front of them didn't look like she was injured. The gossips started but no one knew the truth so they were just rumours that the lady was not Yousufa. The show almost came to an end and the designer thanked Tina for the wonderful performance but she didn't spoke a word, she just lowered her head a little stating the thanks. Suddenly in the front row someone started to shout that she is not Yousufa, the person in the front row saw Tina's face as he bend down in order to pick up his phone that accidently fell on the floor and with this the doubts of the media were conformed and the questions started.

The designer was really pissed with Tina and started to shout at her in front of the entire audience and media. Tina was already prepared for all the insult, but she was not aware of this amount of insults she would get, she didn't expect that the designer would treat her like this. He shouted on her ruthlessly without even caring about her status 3 years ago. He disgraced her beyond level and even in front of the whole media asked her to get down the stage and out of the hall, he told her that he would go to the court and completely destroy the whole PG GROUP and even her career. The media also got the chance and started questioning Tina when she got down the stage, they became that violent, that when she didn't say a word in respect to their accusations and questions they started to even push her. How much Tina prepared her for all these insults but she didn't expect it to go on this level. She was sad that now people think that she has come down on this level that she can be the substitute for someone. The questions of the media continued:

- Tina ma'am would you like to tell us why are you here? Yousufa was supposed to be a part of this show.

- Are you a substitute for Yousufa? Have you taken part in other shows also on her behalf?

- You have fallen that low that you can be the substitute for someone, oh my god that's ridiculous, girls like you won't hesitate to sleep with men to reach on top. The designer said angrily and even said "are you shameless why haven't you left yet, I said leave this hall now".

Tears started to build up in Tina's eyes after listening to what the designer said she thought substitute, and now slut. Thank you Pranay, first for betraying me and now for leaving me to be called as a slut in front of everyone. Because of you today everyone is calling me a substitute and slut I won't forgive you that and would prove to you that what can a substitute do. She could just think about all this but can't do anything right now as she didn't have anyone to help her get out that hall, she felt helpless and sad at the same time because of the position she was in due to the so called love of her life. Suddenly a strong and magnetic voice echoed in the hall from the back that made everyone look around and be nothing but shocked.

The voice was of no one else but the king of the entertainment industry himself none other than Ranvijay Rawat. He was really angry and said - "ofcourse someone needs to leave the hall, but its obviously not this model Tina its going to be you" he said referring to the designer while walking towards the stage. He stood just infront of Tina covering her, so that no one could touch her. Seeing Ranvijay everyone just had one of feeling and that was regret. No one had the courage to stand against him as he was the king of the industry, he had the power and guts to destroy anyone in the blink of an eye if he wishes to.

Fear was evident in the eyes of the designer and the media as well. The designer never have thought that Tina had the tie up with RR INTERNATIONAL, if he would have known that he would not dare say any of those words he said, he never thought that Ranvijay would himself would be defending Tina. He knew that he cannot stand against him, Ranvijay had the power to destroy his career without even doing anything, be was very well aware of his powers. Even the head of the HF CREATIONS regretted shouting at Tina after seeing Ranvijay came in her support, they knew it would not be nice for their company to fight with Ranvijay. Ranvijay after making sure that he and Tina are both covered and protected by his guards started to speak again - "is this the way media treat any artist, and especially ladies? Is this the way of talking to any women. I agree that if this model had done anything wrong or taken someone's else place she should be punished, but not like this it involves her management agency and whatever should be done it should be done legally not like this. Insulting someone like this is not acceptable at all. The media became violent and this is not right at all, judging someone's character by yourself, how much right is this?" Ranvijay's tone was very harsh and everyone in the hall didn't have the guts to look at him at that point.

Tina who was standing at the back of Ranvijay noticed something that no jne else did. He made sure that she was completely covered and no one would be able to touch her, he came into the scene just when the media started to grt violent and touch her. She was overwhelmed at what Ranvijay did for her as she had never expected this from someone she had just met 4th or 5th time. She was now sure that Ranvijay would never use her like Pranay did, he came to protect her and even supported her without thinking of his reputation and status. She already knew that Ranvijay had no reasons to use a girl like her but now there was something in her heart rhat moved for him. He did what he said to her during their lunch, that he would protect her no matter what. She could not think of anything right now except for just feeling thankful to him, and a sudden swollen feeling in her heart took over her. She did not know why she felt that way, she promised herself that from now on she would not trust anyone but has she by just a single incident started to trust Ranvijay?

Ranvijay looked at everyone's facial expressions and knew that what they were thinking, all of them were trying to suspect the relationship between him and Tina, he had no problem with the world knowing that Tina is his wife but he had promised her that he would not tell the world until and unless she is ready too. So he looked at the media again and after a second pause continued to speak -"I don't even know who this model is, but I am sure she is also someone's daughter or someone's sister and seeing the media behave like this to a women is unacceptable. I would not let the media behave like this to any women in front of me. I would like to ask the media would they act like this to any other male celebrity or any other more famous model than her? Why do you guys make characteristic remarks on someone without even knowing them personally don't the media think they are more than harsh on the entertainment industry? I would just like to ask the media to be a bit generous towards the artist and not to judge anyone without knowing both sides of the story." He said all these things and left, but just after leaving he sent his guards in to escort Tina out of the hall safely without anyone knowing who send the guards for her. After what all Ranvijay said no one had the courage to stop Tina or ask her anything, she left and the guards escorted her towards Ranvijay's car and she entered the car to see Ranvijay looking at her intently...
