Chapter 8

2084 Words
Onyx P.O.V "There. Thats our ticket into getting in the city undetected." I pointed at a parked wagon with its back covered. It was parked beside an Inn right outside the gates walls. The plan was that when the traveling merchant leaves his wagon to go inside the Inn, we would sneak on and get into the city unseen. We were currently hiding in the thick brush a couple of yards behind the wagon and the Inn. It was so early that the sun was just now beginning to peak over the horizon. The songs of the birds and other animals filled the morning air, the cool breeze nipped at our cheeks. "So we are going to sneak on the wagon to get into Oxindale?" She looked over at me as she asks in a hushed tone. I couldn't help but smile at her, earning me a light blush on her tan cheeks. "Bingo!" We looked back at the man as he jumped down from the front seat of the wagon, he walked over to his healthy horse that pulled the the contraption. "Be a good boy, Marley. I'm going to get a quick bite to eat and I'll be back." He say to the horse as he stroke his mane. The horse looked lovingly at the older man and nudged him with his nose. The man Pat's the beasts cheek with a smile. The man made his way to the in before closing the door behind himself. This is our chance. I turned to Serana and gently pulled her into my arms. The front of her body was pressed to mine and she cautiously wrapped her good arm around my shoulders. I stood up making sure I stood close into the shadows as I jogged the short distance to the wagon. We got into the wagon safely and unnoticed, the white tarp over the top gave us extra protection. I looked down, Serena's thick chocolate curls was sprawled out around her head. Her bright eyes were on me, her tanned face was tinted red down to her neck. Whats wrong with her? It took me a second to realize the problem. She was on her back under my large body. Her legs were wide enough that my hips were pressed between them, pressed onto her most private of places. She looked so innocent and beautiful under me.. My whole body began to heat up, my face began to burn with embarrassment. And things only got more awkward when my manhood grew to its full length and girth against her. I try to move away but there was no room to move, I only ended up pressing it harder against her. "O-Onyx!.." She gasped. Her crystal blue eyes looked up at me with astonishment. He mouth was slightly ajar. Seeing her pink lips open like that aroused me even more, she looked more tempting. My manhood began to ach painfully. I gulped. "I'm sorry!" I whisper. Right when I was going to try to move, I heard the inn's door open and close. "Man I'm full!" The merchant say satisfied with his meal. I wrapped my arms around Serana protectively, forgetting all about our 'problem'. She also tighten her arm around my neck, burying her face in my neck. I felt the wagon shift and creek under the mans weight as he got on. Things were still before I heard him whip the horses reigns. "Gitty-up, boy!" And like that we began to move forward. Serana and I stayed perfectly quiet and still the whole 10 minute ride before the wagon stops again. "Halt, citizen." The city guard calls out. I can hear his footsteps approach us. "Going to treat me like the common rabble eh, Lansing? " The merchant asks the guard humorously? "Oh, it's you Jeb! How's things with ya?" Lansing asks, a obvious smile In his voice. "The same actually. I just have some new merchandise this time, it's worth a look too. Hey, stop by my stall later and I'll give you a discount." "Sure thing, Jeb! Go on through." With that, we heard the large ancient doors open, the cart began moving again. "Tell the missus and the little one hello for me!" He calls before heading through the gate. We rode silently into the city before we halted to a sudden stop. "s**t, gotta piss!" The merchant Jed mutter before jumping off the wagon and marching off. I took that moment to securely hold my lady in my arms before slipping off the cart. We both let out a relived breath when we realized the streets were empty and not being patrolled. The Oxindale was a small kingdom but it still had it's charm. The stone buildings towered higher than the ancient trees outside the city walls and the ground was lined with brick. The sun was higher in the sky now than before, painting the sky with pinks and blues. The streets were empty, a light fog in the air. Serana looks around and looks up at me with eyes full of wonder. "We did it!" She say exited. She looked around the city again, satisfied with what she saw " so this is it, huh? It's really pretty." I smile at her words, our eyes met. "Yes I know, I haven't been here in such a long time. It brings me way back." I put on the hood to my cloak, so that it can hide my face partially. At that moment she hid her face in my neck, ready for us to continue to our destination. I made my way around the wagon and horse and began to make my way through the familiar streets. It took me about thirty minutes before finding the alleyway I was looking for. I turned into the dark alley, continuing down the path until I came to its end. Before us was a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a simple two story wooden house. All around the house were herbs, plants, and flowers of all sizes and colors. There was a single black mare on the left side of the house eating hay. I smile at the familiar sight. I walked down the simple stone path that led down to he house. I knocked three times. I heard movement inside the house for a moment. "Who is there?" The man's man's familiar voice asked cheerfully behind the door. "It's me" I answered my voice low and deep. The door swung open revealing a middle aged male. This long grayed hair was pulled in a ponytail. His cloths were casual and his grey eyes looked up at me with surprise, his dark butterfly like pale blue wings shutter in the air in shock before folding nearly down his back. His warm hand gripped my upper arm before pulling me in the house. "Sir Onyx! I cant believe i'm seeing you in the flesh! I thought you were dead! I am most certainly happy to see you are alive!" Melvin say full of joy, his face filled with emotion. That's when his stormy eyes traveled down to the tiny woman in my arms. he pointed a finger at her "Who is that?" Serana popped her cute tiny head up from my neck and turned her head so that she could look at the man, a shy smile on her lips. Melvin's eyes widened at her and when she smiled at him, his face had a hint of pink in it, I herd him gulp loud. He was obviously aware of her beauty. I looked him in the eye. "Melvin, we need you help." I said, my voice serious. Melvin looked at me meeting my eyes. he gave me a sharp nod. ------ :6 HOURS LATER: I couldn't stay still. He took Serana Into one of his healing rooms. He told me that He and his son will do all that he can do to heal her as quick quick as possible. I was skeptical of his son. I've always knew he had a son I just never actually met him. From the stories I heard of the boy, He sounded strange and unpredictable, but seeing that he will be able to cure my Serana, I let my suspicion go. Before Melvin took my woman into the back room, he told me to go get washed up and I can change into a pair of his cloths, and eat. I did exactly that. I went into his restroom and took myself a nice hot both in the wooden tub, making sure I wash all parts of my body. After that, I made my way up to his bedroom on the second floor and put on a plain black tunic and olive green trousers. I was way taller than Melvin, his pants leg stopped right above my ankle so I rolled them up right below my knee. I brushed my clean hair back and went downstairs to eat. I ate half a cheese role, some bread, the rest of out boar meat that we packed and goats milk. After that I ended up falling asleep at the table and waking up a couple hours later doing what i'm doing right now. I've been pacing around the house for the last couple of minute. I was worried about my Serana. Believe me, I'm not doubting the healing faeries at all, especially Melvin. when I was younger, he would heal me right up after I've gotten myself in some trouble. he was an expert at what he do. Its just this feeling i'm having. I cant get this nagging feeling at the pit of my stomach. I've never felt so worried about anyone other than my family in a long while. Why am I feeling this way knowing she will be completely fine? "Sir Onyx, Please join us?" I heard Melvin call from the second floor. I wasted no time. I took the stairs three at a time and headed down the left hallway and went to the last door to the right. I opened the door. In the double bed by the large window was Serana. Her body was clean and her usually wild hair was in a single thick braid down to her hips. Her lovely blue eyes were closed and she was dressed in one of what I assumed was late wife's night gowns. The thick quilt that covered her body stopped right under her bust, her hands relaxed at her sides. I small relived smile crept on my face, she looked healthy. "Thank you, Melvin." "Anything for you, my prince." Hes voice sounded labored. He sat at the chair at the foot of the bed. He lay slumped, obviously exhausted his head rested on the wall behind him. a grin on his old face. That's when I heard something creak in the other side of the room. I looked. In the corner of the room laying on the floor face down, right in between the wardrobe and some medical supplies was a young man. Even though his face was hidden I can tell he was about the same age as me. His large and tall frame sprawled on the wooden floor. He wore just a simple white tunic with some tan trousers, his dark green wings folded down his back. his ears were pointed like any other fairy, his long brunette hair in a bun. why was he laying on the floor like that? How strange.. "That's my son, Eric." He say taking a deep breath, sitting up in his seat. "He's took quite the liking to the girl." I narrowed my eyes at Eric and took a step closer to Serana possessively, blocking her from his view. "Take a seat sire, we need to talk for a bit." I look at Melvin and decided to sit on the bed beside my woman, careful not to wake her. I stroke her hair. "Please, tell me where you disappeared to? Who is this woman?" he ask his eyes full of wonder. I took a deep breath before explaining everything that happened the past couple of weeks. ***** another chapter up!!
