It’s been a few days since Neomi has been in her room. She has been crying all the time. As her memories are coming back she is facing all those things that were deeply buried inside her. Most of the things are painful. I am trying my best to be there for her but sometimes even I don’t know what to say. She told us about that day, the part we were not aware of and listening to her I felt her pain. She was so small when everything happened and she had no one. If she hadn’t lost her memory due to the shock, I don’t know what would have happened to her. I am glad that she is with me, with us right now, facing these difficult emotions. I promised myself that I won’t let her cry and here I am helpless.
