Elenze smirked, fixing the bow tie he had 'borrowed' from Cassius only a little while ago.

He couldn't help but let the small chuckle that was dying to get out; slip past his tongue as he did a small twirl in the hallway. He ran his fingers through his shaggy blonde hair while his blue eyes remained fixated on his path.

"What are you doing here servant?" he bowed as a demon guard who was passing by him, questioned with a tone that was confused. Elenze smiled at him.

"Had to help our King set his bedroom sir, you know, the usual." he shrugged nonchalantly, faking his appearance as a demon servant.

And the guard nodded, believing his lies since everyone in the Palace- who wasn't living under a rock, clearly knew that Athan liked to sleep around with random men, a lot.

Elenze didn't know he could be any more happier.

Everything, like, everything was going his way.

The archangel pushed past the stressed demon workers, who were too busy cooking or serving food and drinks for the guests. He blended right in, and he made sure to keep his facade nice and clear, cause he wasn't the one to mess up anything, being the perfectionist he is.

Elenze, the son of the King and Queen of heaven, was just like the rumors had portrayed him. He was cunning, wicked but most of all, he gets what he wants.

And if he wants to end the demon king once and for all.. Then, he gets it too.

Elenze entered the main kitchen as casual as possible, he smiled once a demon bumped into him, only to get ignored in return. He inwardly rolled his eyes, but didn't let it show.

"Sebastian, did you put it in?" Elenze grabbed the shoulder of his partner in crime, who was dressed as a chef of the demon Palace and was trying to sneakily put some drops of the liquid he had kept in a small vial, into the liquor that'll be consumed by the guests. But tensed when Elenze appeared out of nowhere.

Sebastian, a white haired angel, was pretty close to Elenze. Not that close to be named as a friend though. He heaved up a sigh once he realised he hasn't been caught by a demon, rather the person who was in front of him right now is just Elenze.

"Five more to go." Sebastian replied carefully, pointing his elbow towards the bottles of liquor stuffed on the counter. Elenze nodded, his gaze intense and focused. 

He was not going to mess this up, at least that's what he told himself. 

"You, come and help with the dishes! Stop slacking off!" Elenze's eyes went wide as he heard someone yelling from behind and he groaned, looking at Sebastian one last time. 

"Make sure to do it right." he commanded before turning around, going to secure his act.

Cassius couldn't stop himself from looking around with the means of spotting that familiar blonde man. Yet he kept it on low, slowly taking a piece of meat to his fork and dipping it on his cup of blood, then putting it in his mouth to munch with bliss. A bit gross yes, but what can you expect from a vampire? 

He also didn't forget to glance at Athan who seemed to have taken a bath, his high collar shirt hiding the well defined bite marks on his neck. Cassius felt sick while looking at him, yet after meeting that mysterious blonde man, Cassius had lessened the amount of time he uses to think about Athan. 

The fact that the man was oddly familiar, intrigued Cassius.. Not in a good way. 

"You seem to be spaced out little vampy." Cassius glanced at Athan, and the said demon was resting his face on his elbow, a big grin firm over his face. The brunette breathed in, shaking his head. 

"It's nothing Athan." he responded, turning away from the ravenette. 

But just when he thought the sweet talk was over, he felt a hand placed on his thigh. The vampire king gulped when he felt the demon king nearing him, his nose brushing over the younger's jaw. 

"How about I pour you a glass?" he whispered breathily, and Cassius was getting more and more uncomfortable with how Athan was trying to 'accompany' him. The brunette felt disgusted, but knowing that if he lets it show it would be considered as rude, he turned and smiled at the demon. 

"I don't drink." he said shortly, gripping Athan's wrist when the demon tried to crawl his hand towards his crotch. 

"And I don't sleep around with strangers." Cassius added, earning a snicker from Athan. 

"Was that aimed at me, little vampy?" 

Weirdly enough, Cassius got the courage to nod. 

He could see Athan's smile falter, only to be replaced by a look of annoyance in a matter of seconds. The demon king gave Cassius a sarcastic smile before turning towards the rest of the guests, his fingers fiddling with his spoon. Though it was never Cassius's intention to shoo the other away, he was more than happy to have Athan out of his body. 

The demon king was such a daring guy... Thinking that he could seduce anyone when in reality, he just showed his true colors to Cassius. 

And the red eyed vampire wanted to throw up, the attraction he had towards Athan, fading away little by little. 

"Oh, uhm.." he pursed his lips when a servant poured alcohol without even bothering to ask if he wanted it or not. And he grumbled, seeing Athan staring at him with his drink close to his lips, making him raise an eyebrow questioningly. 

"Drink some vampy, you won't regret it." he purred and Cassius cringed, ignoring the older man completely..

But that was when he remembered. 

'Don't drink the alcohol.' 

He gasped when Athan tried to take a sip, standing up and jerking the drink out of the demon King's grasp. 

The glass fell down and shattered on the floor, and Cassius breathed heavily but snapped out of it, realising he had jumped onto Athan like a predator and the rest of the people were looking at him, taken off guard. 

Cassius had grabbed Athan's hands in a death grip, he was literally on top of Athan and the latter had a bewildered expression written over his face, their position intimate. 

But that suddenly vanished and now, Athan was smirking. 

"Didn't know  you were such a beast, darling." 

And Cassius wanted to die.
