Speaking out those words loudly felt so much relieving. The pressure forming in my mind was lifted off. Me confessing my love to him unanswered all the unasked questions because after all this I wasn't going to leave him, neither was I going to keep away from his dangerous world. My need to have him close was greater than any danger that existed out there.
I cupped his face slowly smiling in content. His intense eyes stayed glued on me. Somehow the silence between us wasn't awkward or tense. I felt strangely content just being here with him and the peaceful silence.
