Doctors and nurses wheeled Nevada through the hospital at a quicken pace. I followed them. We came up on a set of double doors that read OPERATING ROOMS. As I went to follow them in there, one of the nurses turned and stopped me. “Alpha, you can't go past this point. I will take you to the waiting room to wait.” As the nurse walked past me I just stood there a little dumbfounded. “Why not? She is my mate and your Luna!?” She didn't answer my question, she just waved me on to follow her. I took a deep breath and sighed. I followed with my head low. Once we got there, she spoke to me again. “Alpha, this is the best place you could be right now. And you know Luna is in good hands.
