I am sitting in Clary’s room her scent is all around me, she went up against someone putting her self in harms way, this is really getting to me as I am the one who is meant to protect her but she keeps me in the dark about these plans she is so stubborn that when I take her back to my home this will stop once and for all. Deep in my own thoughts I nearly missed the knock on the door, I get up from the bed to find my beta Cole standing on the other side “how you doing Alex” Cole asks me seeing the worry on my face “I never knew it was going to be this hard with my own mate she leaves me out and keeps things from me” I say with a defeat in my voice “man you are so whipped for this girl” Cole replied with a stupid smirk on his face which some times I wish to punch him for it.
