Chapter 3: The Nine Elemental Weapons

517 Words
The nine elemental relic weapons are mystical items that contain the element attribute within them. However, while these weapons do contain some elemental aspect of that element it does not contain that element within it. Rather they help control elemental powers keeping them in check. Due to this, if the weapons were ever destroyed, the elements that they were responded to would run amok destroying the surface of the planet. Of the nine weapons, only eight locations are known to the world. Zeryl unknown to him and the world owns the void weapon. However, though this weapon exists, not a lot is known about it, very few know of its existence. The remaining eight weapons can be found in zones within their elemental regions guarded by the Mystic tribe of that area. King Q-Varnise has two of them: the shield of water known as 'Oracle of Blessings' and the stone axe ‘Defiler of Secrets.’ The only remaining weapons that exist would be the wind element: 'Malevolent Shuriken,' the fire element known as ‘The Twin-Blades of Desolation,’ the earth element ‘Warden's Judgment’ which is a lasso and the ice element the ‘Fist of Reckoning.’ Each of these can be found and obtain normally on the surface of the planet. However, the light and dark weapons are holy weapons and can only be obtained through special means. Currently, there is no data on what they look like or how to obtain them only location information given of where to go to attain them is given, or at least the location to access the special areas. To reach the special areas a certain kind of transport is needed. The ancient texts don’t specify what the transports are, but they do tell us one thing, “The white weapon can be found above the surface of the planet while the weapon of black can be found below the surface of the planet. To seek out either weapon justice in deceit is needed.” While it’s not a lot to go on, many have tried in the past to no avail to find the transports to these holy places and retrieve these relics. Recently it has been discovered that all six weapons are required to find the light and dark weapons or, so it has been told. Zeryl, while on the hill, knew this and that his time is limited, sets out to recover the remaining four relic weapons before attempting to fight and retrieve the two weapons that the King has. In order to recover each elemental relic, he must go to each of the individual region for each relic; earn the trust of the element completely by either completing the trials of its tribe or the elemental Guardian. Still, knowing this he still sets out towards the Volcanic Province call Asnium to the city of Xoswea, as it is the closest weapon to him; time is short, for he knows, the King will eventually find out about him or try to get a hold of the weapon soon.
