“Just picture yourself as a human, dork.” He chuckled

‘I didn’t know asshole.’ He just laughed even louder. I shifted back and sneaked behind him and jumped on his back. He started to stumble but found his ground quickly. I laughed and dug my head into his neck. He started to spin, I screamed and he laughed.

I woke up to a sliver of light coming into Jace’s room, I looked for a clock and I couldn’t find one so I tried to reach for my phone but his arms tightened around my waste.

*No.*

“Why?” I asked

‘Because I don't want you to get up.’

“I could easily get out of your arms” I giggled

“Bet.” He said it out loud instead of our mental connection. I try to get up but right as I was about to stand up he pulls me back down onto my back. He hovers over me, supporting his weight on his forearms. He looks at my lips and I look at his, he slowly moves his head towards mine. Right before our lips touched his host mom walks in,

“Jace….” Jace whips his head to look at her and he growls. “Sorry, I should have knocked.” Then she quickly closes the door.

*That was harsh.* He turns his face towards me and I see his eyes have changed color *Baby what’s wrong.*

“Yes we all know I’m yours. Why did you go all possessive about me?”

“Because you have only a crop top and shorts on.” His voice was very rough and deep.

“Yeah and you don’t have a shirt on.” I growled, he just laughed and got up. I whined,

“What are you doing?”

*Locking the door.*

*Why?* I got all nervous, and sat up

‘So we can make out and no one will be able open the door.’ He went over to the door and locked it. He slowly started walking over to me, when he gets to me he just stands there. The he pushes me onto the bed back into the position we were in earlier. This time he doesn’t lean in slowly, one second he is looking at my lips the next his lips are on mine. It wasn’t a slow and sweet kiss it was rough and full of lust. His teeth nipped my lip. His lips moved down my neck, then he started sucking on my neck.

After our make out session, I got up and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I looked in the mirror,

*JACE.* He comes running in

“What?!”

“Why in hell do I have a hickey?”

“Because I gave you one.”

“Okay. Come here then”

“Why?”

“Do you not trust me?”

“I trust you…” before he could say anything else I cut him off

“Then come here.”

“Okay.” He walks over to me and I hug him, he stiffens then hugs me back. Then I start to give him a hickey and he moans. When I was done I whispered in his ear

“Haha b***h I got you back.” I walk out of the bathroom as he stands there not moving.

“Haha b***h I got you back.” River’s breath hits my ear as she whispers into my ear. As I was about to grab her, she already out of the bathroom and in our bedroom. I’m out in our bedroom in a flash and have her pinned up against the wall, my breathing heavy as she stares at me with wide eyes.

I look at Jace with wide eyes at how fast he pinned me up against the wall and his eyes where all wolf.

‘Why are your eyes all wolf?’ He didn’t answer me all he did was kiss me hard, I froze, the started kissing him back. When we were done kissing he had his forehead on mine

“What was that?” I say out of breath

“It happens to us when we do something to one other then just leave them hanging.” He leans in close to me and kisses my neck and says “I love getting revenge.” Then he walked into the bathroom and shuts the door before I can get to him. I need to get him back for that. I sat on the bed and formed a plan.

Jace and I are heading back over to my house, Jace pulls his car into my driveway and puts it in park. I look over at him and he leans in and so do I. Once our lips hit it feels like electricity. We both pull back wide eyed but then he leans back in and when our lips touch it feels like a warm humming feeling. I deepen the kiss just when he is about to pull me closer I pull back and jump out of the car running inside. Right when I get inside I hear Jace growl

‘Why. Did you do that?’

‘I thought I told paybacks a bitch.’ I laugh

‘Paybacks gonna be a big b***h for you my love.’ He growls. I smell Jace before he walks in. All of my senses have changed since me and my wolf have connected. He walks in slowly like a predator ready to pounce on its prey. He looks kinda silly with my Aeropostale bag over his shoulder. I laugh at him and he just keeps walking slow, when he gets to my bed he just puts our stuff on the floor and walks up to me and pulls me up grabs me close and puts his head into my shoulder and inhales my scent.

“Mine” he whispers

“And your mine.” He laughed after I say this. He leans in kisses me, he pushes me onto the bed.

I wake up wrapped in Jace’s arms. I look over to the alarm clock and see its 7:02 a.m. I shake Jace and say

“Jace wake up we have to get ready for school.” He looks over to the clock and says ‘We have 8 more minutes before my alarm goes off.’ I fall back asleep and what feels like seconds later the alarm goes off and I huff. Jace hits snooze and we both fall back asleep then the alarm goes off and my dad comes barging in

“Get up. It’s time for school.” Jace growls as I pull the covers over me because I’m just in one of Jaces shirts. Jace gets up, he only has his boxers on and says

“Alpha why did you barge in my mate only has my shirt on her and her undergarments on.” Jace growls

“I didn’t know I’m sorry.” Before Jace can say anything, I see other girl about my age walk past and look at Jace. I get up and I feel my eyes changing as I growl at her and say

“Stop looking at my mate. Get out of here.” I yell with my Alpha voice, she bows then scurries away.

“Why the hell is there other people in my house.” I yell at my father

“First of all I own this house and that girl is my daughter.”

“Why is she here?”

“She is here to meet the new Luna.”

“And who is that?”

“You.”

“You are older than her.” Jace starts to speak before anyone can say anything else

“Can you get out of here so me and my mate can change.”

“Yes. I’m sorry for barging in.” My dad says, and walks out of the room. Jace walks over to me and says

‘Your eyes are still glowing, you need to calm down.’

“So what if they are glowing, your eyes would be glowing if a guy would have looked at me the way that girl did. Your mine.”

“Yes I’m yours. Let’s get changed so we can downstairs.”

“Okay.” I walk over to my coolest and grab a forest green crop top and my favorite ripped skinny jeans. Then I walk into the bathroom and get ready and throw my hair up into a messy bun and walk out of the bathroom and Jace is wearing blue jeans and a red tee shirt.

“You are not going down there like that.” Jace says. I don’t say anything i just walk out of my room and down the stairs.

“RIVER, GET YOUR ASS BACK UP HERE AND CHANGE.”

“Never.” I laugh. My dad is in the kitchen wide eyed and laughing.

“What are you laughing at?”

“You never listen to Jace do you?”

“Not when he threatens my style.” I growl. The girl that I saw earlier just laughs and says

“We are new best friends.”

“Not if you look at my mate that way again.” I growl

“I’m sorry about that.”

“It fine as long as it doesn’t happen again.”

“It won’t Luna.”

“Good. We are friends right?”

“Yes of course your style is awesome and I would dress like you but dad won’t let me.” She whines.

“Your to young to be wearing things like that.” He says disgusted.

“But Luna gets to wear stuff like that and you don’t say anything to her, and I’m only a year younger than her.”

“I don’t like River wearing those types of things, but I can’t stop her from wearing them.”

“I don’t like River wearing these types of things out in public.” Jace wraps his arm around my waist and says in our mental connection.

‘You should only be wearing these things around me, mate.’ I laugh out loud and everyone looks at us.

“Sorry.” I say

“It’s fine. Oh this is Jane.” He points to the girl from earlier.

“Hello luna.”

“Hi, please call me River.”

“Of course.” I nod. What if Jane hates me? What if she doesn’t like that I am the Luna? I think to myself but of course Jace hears me.

‘Why don’t you talk to her about it.’

“Can I talk to Jane alone.”

“Yeah of course we will leave you two alone to talk.” Jace says with a smirk on his face. I look at him and growl. He holds his hands up and asks innocently

“Nothing.” Him and my dad leave the room.
