Chapter 6 Rosemeadow

I wake up to Jace rubbing my back and I turn over and smile at him. He is already dressed. I turn to look at the clock by my bed and it’s 6:20 am.

*Why did you wake me so early?* I groan

“Because we are going on and adventure.”

*Fine. But can we go to Starbucks?*

“Of course Luna.”

We are in the car as we curve through the mountains of Rosemeadow. The name may be deceiving but we have plenty of meadows and mountains. My favorite meadow is called Watermount. Watermount has a beautiful clear river running through it. There is so many beautiful flowers and creatures. My favorite creatures are the Lupus demone. They are demon wolves but they seem to love me. They have fire red eyes, their fur is pitch black.

> I’m sitting in a field, all around me the field is on fire. Soon a Lupus demone trots up to me and sits next to me and lays his head on me. I look at him and call Snowflake and he looks up at me. Then he licks my face and puts his head back in my lap and fall asleep. Soon I’m laying down and drifting off to sleep. I wake up and Snowflake is whining and snarling then I hear a deep growl. I sit up quickly and there is a huge lupum griseo (grey wolf) in fighting position ready to attack Snowflake, I jump up and roar. The Lupum griseo looks at me and then whines and runs off. I look down and my hands shifted into wolf claws. The fur color is a mix between pitch black and light auburn fur. I take my phone out of my back pocket and pull up the camera and my eyes are a mix between red and green. I turn around to Snowflake and his tongue is out and it looks like he is smiling, but I can't really tell.

I sit up fast gasping for a breath and Snowflake is laying on my legs. Something is soft under me, I take a deep breath. Jace is under me, I look up and he is looking at me.

“What was that?”

“We will have to talk to your parents first. I don’t want you to be upset for them not telling you.”

I sit there and look at Jace. Just as I open my mouth to say something he starts talking again.

“No questions. Let’s go. Alpha get of my mate. Please.” When Jace asks Snowflake to get up he jumps right up. Snowflake starts to whine. “Yes you can come too, come on.” How did he know what the whine meant?

When we get home we walk into the living room where my parents are sitting. My mom looks up and sighs

“What?” I say meanly. She completely ignores me and starts talking to Snowflake

“Snowflake…” Then he growls at her, she rolls her eyes and then says “Alpha. What did you show her?”

Snowflake walks up to my mom and she puts her hand on his head. For a few seconds everything is still,then she opens her eyes and they are full of anger and she starts yelling.

“YOU SHOWED HER WHAT SHE IS. WHY? JUST BECAUSE SHE IS YOUR DAUGHTER…”

“IM HIS WHAT?!?!” I scream. She pauses and looks like she didn’t mean to say that. I start getting angrier and angrier. I look over to Jace and he sucks in a breath. He starts walking over to me and grabs my hands and shows me them, they are the wolf claws I saw when Snowflake showed me that. The claws are the exact same and the color is a mix between pitch black and light auburn. Jace starts walking me to the bathroom and when we get in the bathroom I look into the mirror and my eyes are forest green and blood red. My teeth start to grow longer and I feel them pinch my lip. Jace lifts my lip up to show I have fangs, I stare in disbelief at what I’m seeing.

“What am I.”

“Your half Lupus demone like me.” I turn to him and his eyes are glowing bright silver and blood red,he has fangs but they are shorter than mine.

“Why are your fangs shorter than mine?”

“Because you’re an Alpha,” I just look at Jace for a few moments then he says “come on we better get back to your family.”

We walk back into the living room and Snowflake wasn’t a wolf anymore. He looked like me. Snowflake sees me, he walks over to me and gives me a hug. I freeze, two things happen Jace starts growling and says

“Get off my mate Alpha, she doesn’t even know you.”

“You will not speak to me like that pup. I am you Alpha.”

“You are touching my mate without me saying it’s okay. So Alpha I WILL SPEAK TO YOU LIKE THIS.” There was power behind Jaces words and Snowflake immediately starts walking backwards. I look over to Jace, very confused and his eyes are glowing and his fangs are out. I walk over to him to try and calm him. I put my hand on his cheek and he leans into it and growls

“Mine.”

“Yes I love you.” He started to calm down but only enough for his fangs to go away, his eyes are still glowing. I start to go and sit down but Jace grabs my hand and pulls me into him. I hug him back then I see his back and it looks like he has a tattoo.

*You didn’t tell me you had a tattoo?*

*I don’t.*

*Then what the hell is on your back!*

*What does it look like?* I feel Jace get a little nervous

*It kinda looks like fire but it's much more mescaline.*

“Me and River need to speak alone, we will be upstairs.”

“No you guys will have the conversation in front of me.”

“No. Me and Jace will have this conversation in private.” I speak up this time.

“I am your Alpha you will listen to me…”

“I am apparently your daughter. Me and Jace will have our conversation in private. End of.” I grab Jace’s hand and stomp off before anyone can say anything about it.

Snowflake starts pushing power towards us and Jace falls to his knees. So I focus and start pushing power to my so called dad. He immediately falls to the floor and bares his neck. The power that he put on Jace faded so fast I had to look at Jace and see him on the floor to know what had just happened.

When we get to my room Jace takes his shirt off and walks into the bathroom. He walks back out and says

*Take off your shirt.*

*No!*

*Yes!*

*Why?*

*I need to see if you have any on your back.*

*I’ll go look in the bathroom by myself.*

*I’ve seen you without a shirt on before.*

*Fine.* I turn around and take off my shirt, and Jace growls.

“What?” I say puzzled. He starts tracing something on my back and I moan.

“What? Do I have them?”

“Yes, and they would fit mine like a puzzle.” I put my shirt back on, when I turn around Jace has a big smile with those amazing dimples. I walk over to him and pull him into a hug. He pulls back and grabs my face, he leans in slowly and when our lips are almost touching he pauses

*I love you.*

“Say it out loud.”

“Te iubesc.” I try and kiss his lips but he pulls back and says

“What do you say when the person you love says I love you to them?” He giggled

“Nothing. I kiss them.” I laugh

“You kiss anyone who says I love you to you?” He growls playfully

“I didn’t say where is kiss them,” I lean close to his ear and whisper as he shivers “you I kiss on the lips. Now if it was Brody I would kiss his cheek.” This time Jace growls a deep growl “I’m messing around, you possessive furball.”

I move back and look at his eyes, they are looking at my lips. Suddenly our lips are clashed together. My toes start to heat up then it spreads up my body, his tongue touches my lips and I open.

My door flies open so hard it hits the wall and Jace pulls me behind him. Snowflake is standing in the doorway and yells

“Why in hell where you kissing my daughter?” I pull Jace out of the way and walk up to him and yell

“Why in hell do you care?”

“I am your father…” I cut him off and growl

“No I have your genes, you weren't here for my first word or steps. You come into my life thinking you can tell me what to do. Guess what you can’t he is my mate and I will do what I please with him! Now get out of my room.”

“No.”

“Do you own the house? No you don’t.”

“Actually I do,” He pauses “why do you think there are woods behind the house?”

“Come on Jace we are leaving.” I start getting me and Jace's clothes.

“Where are you going?” Before I can say anything Jace is talking.

“We are going to my host family’s house.”

“Why?”

“It’s Friday, River and I stay there on Friday through Sunday.” I grab Jace’s hand and drag him out of the room. I walk out of the house without saying goodbye. My parents let me walk out. I throw my stuff in the back of Jace’s car and before I can get in he locks the doors.

*What the hell?*

*You need to calm down.*

*I can't. Why?*

*Look at you eyes.* I look at my eyes in the car window, they are glowing a mixture of forest green and blood red. My fangs start to nip my lip and Jace lifts the top of my lip so I can see my fangs. I try to calm down but I start getting more enraged. Before I get more enraged Jace grabs my face and starts to kiss me. It’s soft and sweet at first, then I feel my fangs getting smaller and smaller until they aren’t there anymore. Then the kiss starts getting more passionate, his hands slide down to my waist and get closer to my butt every few seconds. His tongue touches my lips and I open,I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer. He pulls back but doesn’t get to far because I grab the front of his shirt. He starts laughing and so do I, he pulls me in for a quick kiss then opens the door for me.

We get to Jace’s host house and he says

“Your eyes are still glowing.”

“They are? I thought they stopped after we kissed.”

“No.”

“What are we gonna do about your host family seeing?”

“I guess we will have to tell them the truth or we could try calming you down again.” He has a mischievous look in his eyes. I start to lean in and so does he but right before our lips touch his head goes to the right, his lips touch my neck. He starts kissing down my collar bone and I moan, he starts kissing back up till he is about to kiss me lips. Then I put my head to the right and start kissing down his neck as he groans and pulls me closer.

*I love you.*

*I love you too fur ball.*

*You know you are a fur ball too right?*

*Yeah I know.*
