Lyra's POV Five months later. I screamed, grunting in pain as a contraction hit me. My hands clenched the sides of the hospital bed, nails digging into the fabric as I tried to focus on breathing through the painful contraction. “Arrgh!” I screamed as another hit me. Sweat beaded my foreheads, the lights above my head were blinding. I felt dizzy. Confused and in pain.
