14 July 2016( past) Everywhere was decorated with chocolate and pitch, Music was booming all over the hall. At the far end was the bride and groom sitting comfortably on the decorated chair. The friends were all busy dancing on the floor while the bride was later dragged by her friends to join them. At the far corner where groom friends were seated was Aliyu. His eyes were directly fitted on a lady who was busy dancing with her friends, he hadn't talked to her or even knows her name but it was love at first sight. He just secretly pray she's not talking yet as he couldn't take his eyes off her. Hours later the music came to an end, the hall was almost empty, it was just left with the friends and the couples. Aliyuusese the opportunity and went to the bridesmaid's side, after exchanging some pleasantry with them he went closer to Rahmat." Excuse me please, can I have a word with you? I promise it won't take much of your time" He assured, fishing his hand inside his pocket. "Hope all is well?" Rahmat asked immediately they shifted to a quiet place. "Yeah everything is well, and I'm sorry for interrupting your moment with friends." "Is okay! I understand" she said swiftly "I'm Aliyu Ibrahim, can I know yours please?" "I'm Rahmat Muhammad" She replied. "Nice meeting you Rahmat, I know a lot have approached you and have said this same word to you, but I most still repeat it that you're very beautiful and you took a special place already in my heart. Rahmat I like you, and I will like to have a relationship with you if it not too soon." Aliyu said calmly. "Thanks for the compliment, but I'm sure you must be joking right? You can't just meet someone in a second and start liking the person, that so unusual you know." Rahmat said. "Believe me Rahmat, I'm serious. Haven't you heard this word before 'love at first sight? From the very moment my eyes met yours I fall in love with you and I'm not joking or trying to fool you, have been watching you from afar" "Ya Rahmat let go," she heard her name been called by her sister, Mardiyah. "I have to go, please," she said trying to walk out on him when he quickly holds her hand back. "I'm not going to ask for much, but can you please give me your phone number so I can call you?" He requested pleadingly handing her his phone Rahmat collected it and type her number before returning the phone to him" here it is" she said. "Thank you, very much Rahmat. I appreciate your time" he said. "Your welcome" she replied. "One more thing," He said pointing one of his fingers. Rahmat sighed exasperatedly "I hope you know my sisters are already inside the car waiting for me," she said. "I know and I'm sorry, I just wanted to remind you about what I said earlier, please don't forget to think about it, Rahmat I love you," He said behind her as she walks quickly to the parking space. After entering the car, they drove out of the hall building with her sisters, having some chitchat about what transpired in the dinner. "Oh my God! Did you see the way the groom was shamelessly starring at his bride?" Basma asked. "Babe forgets about that, she's already his, she's now his halal. Why should he be shy again" Rahmat said drove into the house. "I wonder oh, please tell her. That reminds me, Ya Rahmat who was that guy you were talking to when I called you to let go?" Mardiyah asked. "Oh, that? I don't even know him, oh, he just came and after introducing himself he started blabbing that he like me, this, and that, though we exchange contact after all because I was in hurry to leave too." She said waving her hand "Wow! You're dem lucky Ya Rahmat, Basma you need to see that guy walahi, very handsome."Mardiyah exclaim. "Wait, did you mean that same guy we were starring at in navy blue? He has this Fulani cute face with a trim bears. He even has this Aura sound" Basma describe. "Basma! You and guys description Ehn, how did you even know his aura? Did you talk to him?" Rahmat asked and they laugh. "We better get inside now before dad meets us here," Mardiyyah said and they quickly went inside. "Umma we are back!" The chorus as they all went to her room to greet her. "Umma I'm hungry, what did you cook for dinner?" Basma asked. "You didn't eat at the dinner over there?" Hajiya Raliya asked "Mum I wasn't comfortable, due to a lot of men's that were there" She responded. "Oh, so they will now stop you from eating right? Now go to the kitchen and cook for yourself, I only cook for my husband. I can't be cooking for a grown-up ladies like you" She said, walking to her closet. "Umma, this is unfair, how can I start cooking this late-night" she complains. "If you can't cook this night for yourself then I pity you after marriage when your husband wakes you in the middle of the night to cook for him," Rahmat said. "Exactly you get it, my daughter" "I wake up at midnight to cook for someone just like that? It can never happen. If he feels like eaten he should go in and cook for himself" Basma said. "Okay oh, umma goodnight I'm feeling sleeping," Rahmat said. "Are you going to work tomorrow? Hajiya Raliya asked her daughter, Rahmat. "I feel like not going, I'm even tired of this NYSC walahi, I can't just wait for 3 months to come. So I can fully rest and get a better job than to teach 100 of students in a class. "100 students?" Basma asked surprisedly. "Stay there, and is not all of them that even understand what you're teaching, some will just be starring at you" Rahmat complain. "You're trying, I can't even serve in school. I will rather tell daddy to let me serve in one of his company or fuel station. "Well-done daddy's girl. I'm going to my room in case you cook something please alert me am hungry too" Mardiyyah said before heading out of their mother's room. "Not only alert! I will just go and take tea too" she said and stood up too. "Goodnight umma, "Rahmat said and tail behind. Being born into a family of girls only is a blessing. Rahmat being the elder sister of the three girls was a calm person in nature, she's more of an observant and very friendly. She's presently doing her NYSC at one government school in Minna, Niger state was she base with her family. Mariah the second born is in her final year at federal university of technology(Fut) Minna, was she study quantity survey. While Basma, the last born is the stubborn one among the three sisters, she's a strong-headed girl who feels herself. Schooling in the same school with Mardiyyah and presently in 300level. * * * "She's mine in future, I could already capture that in my mind," Aliyu said to his friend Bashir. "I hope so, you've been talking non-stop about that girl Aliyu, I hope you're not yet going crazy. "As if you know, I'm already crazy in love, please just put me in your dua," he said, turning into a serious expression. "Have never seen you talking to a girl like that, where did you get that boldness" Bashir asked. "Man! You won't know how it happened, just go with the flow and say your mind, you know, trying to the sweet mouth or saying something else will irk her and she might probably chase me away immediately I approach." "Honestly the girl is calm!" He compliments and smiles as if she was in front of him. "I hope you know I'm still inside this car with you?" Bashir warns. "Yeah I know man, I'm just thinking, trying to know how I will even get to know her better. You know I will be going back tomorrow "How will you even know more about her? when you hardly visit here? And who even know the day you will come here again" Bashir asked. "C'mon, forget that you will help me get her full detail and you know I have her contact Insha Allah we will be in touch. And coming from Abuja to Minna is not a big deal just to see her. "All the best then," He said and honk at the gate before droving in after it was open. Parking at the car space. They alighted from the car and Bashir's wife, Zahra came out to welcome them, given her husband a hug. Her protruding stomach was showing in her maroon jilbab. "Ya Aliyu, welcome! Please come in, it been long I saw you" she said gesturing him in. "Since after our wedding he has not visited again, that was last 7 month" her husband chirp in. "Thank you for our wifey. I'm always busy you know bank work is always hectic and during the weekend I mostly relaxed at home or visit Kaduna again where my parent stays." Aliyu responded "Oh that a lot already, please have a seat let me set the dinning," she said and quickly left to the kitchen. Aliyu Muhammad, his a staff worker of CBN Abuja. Due to a lot of stress it comes with, he hardly has time to settle down or even search for a lady. His mum Hajiya Sumayya has sent him a dozen of his cousin or friend picture so he could marry one and settle down but he always rejected with a promise that he will find one himself soon. Mustapha his junior brother has married with a son already and that had more fire to his problem.
