11- Furious

Seily's POV

Aldrich really drove me crazy. Why the hell would he follow me to the restroom and ask me about Andrew if he is not interested in me at all? Who is he trying to fool? I can see through him. He clearly likes me and the reason behind him trying to push me away was still unknown to me. I will try to figure that out myself and I will make sure to have him. He just waits and see.

Because I was pissed already, O decided to call my friend who owns a club and decided to get drunk to my heart's content. She gave me a reservation at 9 pm and had a lot of time to look for someone who would want to come with me.

I went home and called everyone I knew who wouldn't say no to me and was lucky to get five of them. It was on me so they didn't need to worry and the owner of the club was really a good friend of mine and I am sure that I would be able to get a big discount later. I readied myself and ate so I wont get drunk easily. I wanted the night to distress me with Aldrich's push and pull game with me.

I was in my room and was constantly looking in my phone for others' confirmation. I wanted to have more, but if there were only five of them, it was definitely fine with me. They were all good friends of mine, so it doesn't matter.

I choose a not-so revealing dress so that when I get wasted it won't be too troublesome to move and, of course, a flat. I have no intention of dancing, so I won't be needing my stiletto. Tonight there is going to be a full drinking session.

I asked the driver to send me to the club and get me when I wanted to go home. I don't drink or drive. I love myself too much to do that. I arrived at the club a little early, but knowing my friend, I was sure that our room was ready and prepared.

I went into the private room and was surprised to find my friends already there. "Hey, cuteness. How are you?" Cedric, my very close male friend, greeted me.

"I am super fine and excited to see you." I replied happily and hugged him. Cedric is bisexual, though he doesn't see him as a woman. He only wanted me to be his friend and we used each other when we tried to drive away unwanted attention from the opposite s**. We're in a kind of relationship where we can undress and get naked in front of each other and sleep together and nothing will happen.

"Hi, Liz." I greeted her as I noticed her sitting on the single couch after I gave Cedric a peck.

"Oh my gosh, you're so pretty. I didn't attend the reunion because I was in Country P with my parents, so I just see you now. How can you be so pretty when nothing changes in me?" Liz said and I laughed. She was always like that, exaggerating things. Instead of being beautiful or pretty, I preferred being cute. It's something no one would ever get used to looking at.

"Oh come on, you know how beautiful you are. I'm pretty sure that you have found a very outstanding man in Country P, so tell me, who is it?" I told her, teasing.

"You know that I don't go for boys at this time, I am still busy with the business I just put up about six months ago and I wanted to focus on that." she replied, "If not for that business I don't need to come to Country P with my mom and dad, they help me look for a potential investor there." she added.

"And I'm sure it was a success?" I told her and she nodded, grinning. "Congratulations, you're very hardworking and I know that your business is going to be a success." I told her.

"Hey, come on now and sing." Cedric said. They knew that I didn't and I couldn't sing, but they always pushed me to do it. I, being a good friend to them, always took the microphone and sang for them even if I was out of tune and they would laugh at me.

"You want me to make you happy so you're asking me to sing?" I asked him.

"You know that you can take away all kinds of suffering in the world," Cedric replied, and they all laughed.

"Anyway, how come Eolly is not here?" Liz asked.

"You know her, she would rather stay in her house and play than go with us. But for today, I didn't invite her." I told them. They all gave me a curious look.

"What? Wait, no. We're OK and the reason that I did not invite her here is because she was already working at Knox Corp." I informed them.

"What??" they all exclaimed and I laughed at them. I understand them though. Liz has been trying her best to make Eolly work for her, but Eolly declines the offer.

"Don't be too shocked. She lost in a bet and the consequence was to apply for a job at Knox Corp. and when she was there the CEO challenged her. And Eolly being Eolly, she accepted it and now she works there as the CEO's assistant."

"Wow!! Assistant to Mr. Richard Knox? Isn't it difficult to work for him? I heard a lot of humor about him." Neddy said,

"You think it would matter to Eolly? You know her, I wonder how much headache she's giving Mr. Knox already."I said and laughed with them.

"Cuteness, are you ready to get wasted tonight?" Cedric asked,

"Of course, are you?" I asked him too, and then the others, one by one. "Are you??"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's start our party." Neddy said.

Among us five, Neddy was the real party goer. Their family was very rich and she really didn't need to work. Although each of us were rich in our way, Neddy was not the one to work for their company. Her parents believe that her brother should be the one who believed the business as Neddy, being a woman, would end up doing the household when she gets married. One thing she was not proud of herself. That's why she parties all the time, so her parents would notice her and eventually she was expecting them to ask what she really wanted.

"Once we really end up being wasted, did you tell your friend about our room?" Cedric asked me.

"Of course, she already knew about that and it was on that floor too, so you don't need to worry," I replied.

Our drinking session started and, as I expected, they were all drunk besides me and Cedric. We are heavy drinkers. I drank with Eolly back in college and we tasted different kinds of alcohol and hard drinks. We tested our alcohol tolerance and I can say that I can drink until morning.

I could see Cedric was a little tipsy already and I wanted to laugh at him, "What's going on Ced?" I asked him.

"Why am I feeling drunk Sei, what did you do to my drink?" he asked and I laughed at him.

"Excuse me, I didn't do anything about it. I guess your tolerance has gone low after not drinking for a long time," I replied.

"I guess so, you know my previous boyfriend was a saint and didn't want me to even taste alcohol. If I had known that he was going to leave me with another woman, I would have drunk no matter how much he hated it." he said sadly.

His boyfriend was a well-known actor. Although they did not make their relationship public, they were really happy. Well that's how I see it, I never thought that they would end up breaking up because of a woman. Cedric loved the guy so much and he was planning on marrying him in the country U as it was legal to have a same-s** marriage there.

Cedric was really devastated after their break up and I really don't know what I would do to him just to appease him. He was really broke and all I could do was watch him getting drunk all by himself. I couldn't drink that time because I would be driving when we got home.

Dad had met him already. At first he thought he was my boyfriend and he was really happy because he thought he finally had a son-in-law. But after I told him who he was and what he was in my life, he started to arrange a blind date for me. He couldn't care less if I was always with Cedric that time after I told him about Cedric.

"Do you still remember him?" I asked Cedric and he looked at me sadly.

"Yeah, so much. You know the dream I made for both of us. All the plans I tried to understand so he won't need to work because I know that having a relationship like ours would be a big blow in his career if it came to the public's knowledge." he said, and I hugged him.

"It's OK, everything is going to be alright. You're so good and very loving and caring. It's his loss and not yours. Don't forget that there are a lot of fish in the ocean, so I'm sure that you will be able to find someone much better than him and will love you the way you love him." I told him.

"Thanks Sei. You know that you are my only friend and I don't hesitate to tell you everything. After my past relationship, I still hope that I will be able to find happiness. I tried to look for women, but I guess I like men more than women, even though I know that I am a bisexual." he said, and I smiled at him.

"Your eyes are getting heavier, I guess it's time to call it a night and help them get to the rooms." I told him and he nodded, laughing. We helped everyone on their feet and sent them to the private room which I asked my friend to reserve for us as well.

We sent Liz last and we were about to go to our room when I heard my name being called in a very intimate voice. I looked at Cedric who was about to get into our room and stopped to look at me curiously. It was in the room opposite ours and it was slightly ajar. I was so curious because the voice sounded familiar although it was a bit off.

"Wait," I heard a woman's voice.

"No more waiting, Seily. You're going to be mine." the familiar voice replied, so I pushed the door open and I saw him, the man that was pushing me away and still calling out my name in front of a different woman.

Speaking of women, I faced her and gave her a slap she wouldn't forget. She rushed out of the room and I knew Cedric was just outside the room. I saw Aldrich being thrown out a little away from the door unconscious. He even had the guts to ask me what I was doing?

I'm so furious, really furious with this arrogant man of my life.
