Aldrich is quite irritating! How could he say such a thing to me? Is he unconcerned about my feelings? He desired me but couldn't commit to me; what type of relationship are we in if I let him do anything he wanted? Is that it? Mutual understanding? What exactly are we, young adults?
I don't understand why he was so hesitant to devote himself to me. I mean, I'm not his ex-girlfriend, and I've never had any relationships with other guys; shouldn't it be me who was at a disadvantage here? Why is he being so cautious and fearful? He's a mature man, therefore I expected him to act like one rather than a terrified kitten.
