Revelation

I was woken up by the noise from the machines in the hospital. Beside was a scared friend, Roni she was just staring at me and from the looks of her face she was crying maybe remembering my previous accident which led to me suffering from memory loss. As soon as she saw me trying to make myself sit down she came for my aid.

"Take easy, just lie down for while you've hurt your head badly," she said trying to ease the situation but I guess she only worsened it.

"What did the doctor say" I asked instead.

"You only had a concussion but no internal bleeding to be clear and you need to rest for some days before going back to your normal self." I was somehow relieved that I did have major injuries but taking some days off I don't think I still have time to waste. Time is moving on too quick to even realize it. I just nodded my head in agreement and laid back on the bed. I hated hospitals and I still do but I have no option. My mind was racing reminding of Genova's words. She had informed me before hand to be careful but still I thought things weren't that bad of which I was so f*****g wrong but I think the time has come to show the real me to the world.

It was after the accident when my mom brought me back here for medical reasons.

She had doctor's whom she trusted so much and one was uncle Edward, my father's step-brother and that's when she met my lookalike Marie Genova Edward. Gene was uncle's daughter according to the introduction given and was my lookalike except for our eyes. Mine was deep blue while hers were light brown with a golden ring around them They we're the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

Due to situation I was in Gene accepted to help me by pretending to be me while I had my stay at the hospital. I had to use contacts to have a similar eye color to that of Gene while she also had contacts as same as my eye color. To me life was very hard learning to everything as Gene and also knowing that she was gay made everything hard for me. I had to deal with her girlfriend, Eve while I also had to learn about everything she knows including law, martial arts among others. She was also an IT expert and I also had to be one.

After years of staying away from home I started having shades of my memories coming back of which the doctor said I could be better even more soon than expected. Due to memory loss u had Lilian, Gene's sister helping me out to handling Eve since I myself never concentrated on love leave alone being in love and that's reminds me of why I was called a nerd at school.

Gene and I became close friends as she could always call to hear from me and also introduced me Sarah her friend in crime. They were both friends and that made her to be my friend also after some time. Five years after my stay with uncle Edward I realized that Gene was my twin sister but due to Grandpa's order she was taken away after my mom passed out due to excessive bleeding. My mom was informed that one of her daughter had passed away and she just mourned for as she couldn't have done anything to change that fact and that explained why she as and I looked so much alike except for our birth marks. I had a birth mark on my right side just below the ear lobe on my neck in form of a dragon which meant I would be fierce and unstoppable while Gene's mark was that of an eagle on her left side just below her earlobe on her neck indicating that she was destined for higher heights but also unstoppable. We had to use make ups to hide our own marks and inscribe one's mark on their respective places it was tiring but I also found it fun.

The reason why we were separated was because my grandpa said that he had forseen the downfall of the Shepherd's family and he needed to save someone to bring back forth it's glory and that was through Gene. I somehow understood it but failed to acknowledge my grandpa's decision to lie that my twin sister died during child birth and even though he explained it I still couldn't fathom that nor forgive him for that.

I still don't know if my mother realized who Gene is to her but I could tell they have a special relationship after I visited them few months ago to swift positions again. Since then both of us have been playing double roles only that we had to keep our contacts not to draw attention to our enemies. One thing I am grateful about is my team while I known as the white ghost am the leader and Eunice's uncle Morgan is my right had man while Gene known as the night flower is my partner in crime. We are aimed to destroy all villains especially those people who conduct illegal business. We don't negotiate as we believe that it's better for one person to die for a better tomorrow. We don't arrest any mafia if he get hold of them we just kill them and that's why Madison is afraid of us as we are his only threat in his business.

Here at college I sometimes miss classes and Gene would come and leave unnoticed. She also knows my friends and therefore they just mingle freely. I was doing my things while she called me and sent the photos of Erica with that Emma girl and I was finally that we had to shift position again hoping to give her a piece of my mind only for me to end up in here, in the hospital.

I just laugh at my stupidity but I'm grateful now I got a bargaining power to force Eunice to be part of my squad or punish her. I hope she knows what white ghost is capable of doing and since she knows that white ghost is a Shepherd I have to get rid of these contacts and let the mission to officially begin. Since nobody knows if I have a twin sister I guess this is going to be fun.

Roni is asleep on my bed I guess it's already late and I don't know if Tatiana is well. I really hate this day of my life. I was about to go use the washroom without waking her up but she's here already awake.

"I'm sorry I wanna use the washroom," I apologise for waking her up.

"It's okay I was just wondering if everything is alright with Mina, she was supposed to come for us at around eight but now it's past nine," she informed me.

"Hey give a minute or I'll pee in my pants," I tried to make jokes around cause I can she is worried about something.

"Hurry up then don't mess us," she ended up laughing after her remarks at least I made her laugh. I wonder if everything is alright cause if not i guess Gene has to intervene.

"Is everything okay with you Eddie," she asked as soon as she saw me smile while I exited the washroom but I just nodded to avoid laughing out loud.

"Is there anything funny in there," why would she think that.

"Nah, just wondering what my mom would do if she knows am at the hospital and making it worse I have a concussion. " i finally said as I shake my head wishing I could have seen her reaction.
