Dear Diary, Things in our household are getting slightly better. Now that Aiden isn’t under Cassie’s influence anymore, he’s like a whole new person. I can’t believe I’m going to write this down, but I missed him. I missed who he was before she sank her claws into him. He still hasn’t changed his mind about Hunter, though. I can see by the warning glances he throws his way, whenever he says something to me. But those occasions are rare. I’m staying away from Hunter. For peace in our family. My mind is all over the place as we’re driving to the thermal spa that Saturday. My mom is probably thrilled to have the house all by herself today. Dad’s at work and all of us kids have gone on this so-called sports day. I’m sitting next to Leslie, but we’re both quiet. She was even happier than me
