There’s never been anything more awkward than having to tell your parents that you’ve started dating. Period. It’s a special level of first-hand embarrassment that I luckily never have to experience again. Because it only happens once in your life.
I mean, introducing the person you’re dating is another level. But I don’t have to do that with Eric. My parents know him. They know he’s my brother’s friend, which makes this all the more easier.
For them, at least. For me … nothing’s been easy lately.
