Alarics POV The moment I released her into the hands of Ronan’s red haired woman, my wolf snarled. Zorrak. Always there, always simmering under the surface spoke. His voice was a low growl in my chest, vibrating against my ribs. ‘You shouldn’t have let her go. You told her never to leave your side. You made the order yet you broke it.’ My jaw slightly tightened as I stopped for a minute and glanced back only to watch her disappear into the corridor, small and uncertain, her head turning once as though searching for me. I didn’t give her the comfort of a long glance. Comfort was a luxury I couldn’t afford to give her. Not here.. Not anywhere.. Still, when Ronan’s eyes lingered on her longer than I liked, taking note of every fragile line of her body, my hand twitched, Zorak growled
