I tried to figure out what I just witnessed as I ran back to the clearing. I didn’t want to stick around when the cops showed up. What was up with Bob? He was weirder than usual. I wasn’t surprised he hit on the girl, but why did he steal her stuff? And since when was he allergic to salt or asked for broccoli instead of fries?
All these questions were circling through my head that I didn’t realize I had reached the clearing until I ran past everyone else. I skidded to a halt and turned back around to see Ophelia standing there with a radiant aura around her. I shifted and pulled my shorts back on before joining them.
“Okay, boys, you’re up,” Ophelia said to Dante and Ronin. “My first magic spell will be removing your brands for good. You have more than earned that right.”
