Charlotte’s POV There were a few constants in my life, and my father thinking that all I did was get into trouble was definitely one of them. He was always quick to jump to conclusions, and he never heard me out. I mean, sure, he could just be flustered by seeing Cyn next to me. Still, I would have at least thought that he would give me the chance to explain things or, better yet, be a little less harsh to me, given the fact that I had found a sister they had never told me about.
