I don’t know why I became overly hesitant whenever Cyn was involved.
I could say whatever I wanted to anyone else, whenever I wanted. With Cyn, however, because I so wanted to protect her that even if there was an issue hanging over our heads, I would rather tiptoe around it than bring it up out of fear of causing distress to her. And I knew unpacking what had happened yesterday would cause her distress.
