Kara's father had been doing lots of researches, aiming to find out what transpired whilst Kara last in the forest. His researches helped lead him to a conclusion, one where he could be hurt really bad if things didn't go as planned, one where he could not come back to the village anymore to see his daughter.
He's heard that Kara has returned back and is in the hands of Ronald, the Head. He wonders what suffering his daughter must be passing through at the moment. But then, he needs to focus on the mission at hand, which is all based on saving Kara even though the aftermath will be disastrous. At least saving Kara is his main priority. Lastly, they'll have to run away from Mulan, and any town near them, and they shall continue to hide for the rest of their life. He thinks.
