Alison tried not to dig her nails into Harker’s arm as he led her to a couch toward the back of the Club. They’d discussed what he wanted to do tonight, and even though she’d agreed she wasn’t so sure it was a good idea. She sat as Harker ordered their drinks.
“Ethan will be here shortly.” He sat next to her, his hand resting on her thigh.
“Are you sure about this?” She wasn’t. It was tempting and exciting but if it were another woman joining them, she’d be jealous.
“Have you changed your mind?” His dark eyes didn’t give her any clue as to what he wanted.
“I...I don’t know.”
“You can stop at any time.” He touched her cheek. “If you don’t want to do this, that’s fine too.”
