***ElOISE***
“Yes, I got the key, silly me, I totally forgot,” Simone said behind me, making me jump, I had been listening to the conversations of the court. Thankfully, she didn't look at all offended.
“Come on,” she gestured.
I sighed as Simone and I walked away from the courtroom. And soon enough, we got to my new room.
I gazed around my new room, it was nothing compared to what I had back in Credence Wood, father had made sure I had everything I needed, but this was going to do, it was small and cozy and soon, I was going to make it feel like home to me, while also plotting my revenge.
“So, do you like it? If you don't, it can be changed, but let me warn you, the other rooms have rats and this is the only rat-free one.” Simone said with a smile and I nodded. Then, she gave me a look and started walking towards the door.
“Simone?” I called and she turned back.
“Yes?” she answered, raising an eyebrow.
“Can we keep it a secret? I mean, can we keep me being wolfless a secret,” I begged with my eyes and she smiled.
“Not necessary, everyone in the pack knows we brought in a wolfless woman. Here, no one judges, lots of other wolfless folks found sanctuary here, Eloise.”
A sigh of relief washed through me. This wasn't like Credence Wood where wolfless people were looked down on as abominations.
“How do you know my name?” I asked her.
“Your wedding dress,” she said in a quiet tone. “You had imprinted your name on it, and that's how I got to know your name.”
That was all she said, then she exited the room, leaving me to my newfound home and the thoughts of my loss.
I took a seat on my bed and touched my stomach, a tear drop slid down my face unknowingly. “I'll make sure you pay… Darius. You won't get away with this.”
Then my mind drifted to the conversation I had earlier overheard. If Darius ever came here, then that meant I was going to be captured. I sighed heavily, the only two options I had was to run away from Silverstone or stay back and avoid Darius’s party at all costs when they arrived.
“I will just explain who I am and my innocence in all of this, before he could poison them with his lies,” I decided as I rose to my feet, even though I had no sense of direction in this castle whatsoever, I was determined to find the alphas and tell them the truth.
If I were to be honest with myself, I had no idea if they'd help me or not. Or what other variable outcome would come from what I was about to do.
Remembering the route to the courtroom, I turned in that area and almost bumped into the alphas but stopped and hid behind a pillar.
“Come on Jeremy, how do you expect us to tell her she's mated to 3 alphas?” one of them muttered in a hushed tone.
“Well, why the f**k can't she even feel the mate bond already,” another one yelled furiously.
“Well, Simone did say she's wolfless, remember?” another pointed out as they each ran their hands through their hair.
What? The alpha triplets were mated to one woman? And a wolfless one at that? I sighed, she is lucky to have powerful handsome men like this. And here I was, wolfless and unlucky, being hunted all over by my ex.
“I still believe we can tell Eloise, we've waited for a whole month,” my ears sprang at the mention of my name. Were they talking about me?
“Blake… come on,” one of them said, then he turned.
I quickly hid myself, so he couldn't catch sight of me. Then slowly, I peeped my head out.
“How would you feel if I told you you're mated to 3 different women,” the glowy green-eyed one said to his brother, Blake.
“Dylan, trust me, I’d be ecstatic,” he said, his name was Blake, I made a mental note.
“Sure you'll be,” Dylan rolled his eyes.
I left the corner and walked away, my second chance mates were alphas, 3 alphas. I couldn't get the thoughts out of my head, this was all crazy, insane, but weirdly, I couldn't deny that I didn't like each of them.
What if I had my wolf, would I feel something greater than I feel now?
Everything was like a haze, confusing.
“But then, if I ended up being with an alpha of Silverstone, a pack bigger than Credence Wood, I'd have power over Darius. He couldn't capture a Luna of Lycan alphas,” I muttered to myself.
I didn't need a magician to tell me, this was my break, and my second chance mates were going to be my saving grace.
“Stop!” I heard one of them yell behind me and I
I froze in my step, slowly, I turned around and he walked towards me, Blake was walking towards me, looking so pissed, yet so handsome.
He got to where I was and dragged me into an empty room, “Now, spill, who are you and why have you been spying on us,” he yelled at me.
I flinched. “I… I… I'm Eloise,” I managed to say.
“Yes, tell me something I don't know already,” he hissed out, and my legs turned jelly.
“And… I'm an outcast, from Credence Wood,” I said, shutting my eyes since I didn't know what was going to come for me next.
“Let me guess, you are the traitor's daughter,” he said jokingly and I opened my eyes.
“No, of course not, I mean… sure that's what they say, but that's not what happened.
His gaze locked with mine, and my heart skipped a beat.
“I was supposed to get married to Darius and somehow…” my voice broke as the image of my father being tied to the pole replayed in my head. “Father got framed and he was killed and now, I am being hunted.”
His expression softened as soon as I was done explaining.
“That explains the wedding dress you were in when I found you,” he said.
Wait what?! Blake was the one who found me?
“Well, what's your plan now? I'm sure you know they're coming for you,” Blake said, stepping closer to me.
I couldn't say a word. The tension in the air shut me up, and no words formed in my mouth. Blake leaned in closer and closer till I could feel his warm breath against my face.
He was going to kiss me, and I wanted it, so I shut my eyes tightly.
“Marry me,” he whispered into my ear and my eyes opened up immediately.
I almost blurted out a resounding ‘YES’, but thankfully, I was able to think before talking and I kept my mouth shut.
What if he was just joking?
“What do you say?” Blake asked, looking at me intently while I just bit my lower lip nervously.
And just as I attempted to open my mouth to speak, his brothers walked in looking rather serious.
“Son of a b***h!!!” I heard one of his brothers say, at the same time I saw a punch ramming into Blake’s face and he was thrown to the ground.
I shut my eyes for a minute, what have I done?
“I'm sorry,” I said as I opened my eyes a bit, still squinting.
“Come on,” one of them said, grabbing Blake from the floor, they went out of my sight, neither of them regarding me or anything.
I just stood there looking confused. But I knew one thing, I wanted Blake, and I wanted his brothers too, I wanted them all.
