Chloe stared at the blood-stained tissue in horror. Her tears were flowing down like a river, her heart torn into pieces.
Britney's breathing became more rapid and short. She held hard onto Chloe's hands.
"Mom, just hold on for a little longer. The doctor will be here soon!" Chloe choked.
Britney shook her head weakly and said with a smile, "Chloe, it might be too late for the doctor to come. Listen to me carefully."

Chloe grabbed Britney's hand and put it close to her face, muttering to herself.
