Her eyes opened droopily. Her breath weighed on her chest. Every inhale and exhale caused her body to tense. Distorted silhouettes appeared and vanished aimlessly. She dragged her feet step by step with no direction in mind. The awry silhouettes at last remained fixed in one place. Once again, she tardily manoeuvred in that direction. She made countless efforts to awaken them, but they all proved to be futile. She wept and wailed like a widow in mourning. They soon all vanished again as if they were never there.
