The reversal of the outcome was the most talked about moment of the day. In fact, it was the highlight.
Atlas's betrayal and cunning plans were ultimately shattered by this white knight, Killian.
What I didn't know was why he did it. Was he also playing me or was he saving me? Anyways, it would be better in his possession than in Susie's. A million times better.
It was funny how relieving it actually was. I couldn't explain it even if I wanted to.
In his hands, it would be treated with care, maybe until I could reclaim it one day.
I didn't see much of Killian after the auction. It was as though he just vanished. This made the mystery around him even worse.
