Police

Beating the sh*t out of these guys is really not a big thing for me.

Just when I was about to stand up and fight, I heard someone warning from the left side of the bus top, "I already called the police, they will be here soon."

As soon as the boys heard these words from the middle-aged man standing aside, their faces turned pale.

Though they are college students, they still couldn't act on their own. If they are caught by the police, they might not be able to keep a clean record, in-spite of dirtying their hands.

Fitz grabbed my wrist, pulled me towards him, and said, "I will take care of you later, be careful at night, who knows when someone might kidnap you."

After giving me a chilling warning, he and his gang walked away.

I looked at the middle-aged man and thanked him for helping us.

I took care of all the big bosses, but I forgot to take care of these useless trashes.

While I was grumbling inside, Ava plugged out the earphone and kept it in her handbag.

When I told Ava to call her friend and ask when she will be arriving, the middle-aged man came and sat next to us.

Just looking at him, I knew that he was a policeman. I already saw him following us, ever since we left the dormitory, but I didn't care, because I know that he is investigating Aidan and following me to get more information.

"Did you call your family members and asked them to come? It's getting late.", the policeman asked in a worried and stern tone.

"I called my friend, she said that she will come soon. She might be on her way.", Ava answered with an innocent smile on her face.

I leaned back and closed my eyes.

After 2 minutes, I received a call from Aidan.

Wow!!!! What timing man!!!!!

I have to appreciate him for calling at this perfect time.

I answered the call and before I could greet, I heard an angry voice from the other side, "Where are you?"

"I am with my sister, outside, why? Do you want something?", I asked him with a questioned look, and Ava who saw me asked who was on the call.

I said it was Aidan and she grabbed my phone and spoke happily before Aidan could reply to my question.

"Happy birthday brother. How was the party yesterday? Did you enjoy it?"

She joyfully asked many questions, to which I know that he will answer casually.

After talking with him, Ava gave the phone to me and took out her phone to ask where her friend was.

"I have something I want to talk with you about, can you come now?"

I knew the reason for his request, but as I am acting like an innocent girl with a strong determination, who doesn't know much about worldly affairs, I had to act as though I was clueless.

"Now??.... It's getting late. I have to move out of the dormitory tomorrow because tomorrow will be the last day we will allow to stay in the college dormitory. So I am quite busy for a while.

Tell me what it is and if I am unable to help you through the phone, I will come and see you tomorrow after moving mine and Ava's belongings to the new house."

I replied casually.

He said that he has something important to talk about and he will send his driver to pick her tomorrow morning.

I accepted it, knowing that he had already become anxious and has decided to start his plan on dissecting me.

I hung the phone and asked Ava if her friend is on the way.

"It seems like she is drunk and is staying in the hotel."

I frowned.

I could call one of my subordinates, but many people were watching me, and so, it will be troublesome.

I asked Ava to search for many more taxi apps and find if any of them are available near. I also searched through but found none.

I felt as though the level of my unlucky has reached a certain level, where even I didn't know if it could be gotten rid of by any kind of miracles.

Unable to find any taxi, I decided to ask the policeman nearby.

"Sir, do you know any taxi driver. We are unable to find any taxi nearby and it seems like the bus is not available."

"I don't have, but I am waiting for my nephew. If you don't mind, we could drop you off.", he replied with a gentle smile on his face.

After repeatedly confirming that we are not troubling him and his nephew, I agreed and thanked him for helping us.

After waiting for a few minutes, an 'Aston Martin Vanquish' rode towards us and stood at the side of the bus stop.

A young, handsome man came out and marched towards us.

The moment he came, I knew who he was.

No! Snap out of it Bella! He has no relation to you no matter what happens. If that psycho comes to know that Kye's heart is transplanted into this body, sooner or later, he will have to die.

So act normal, act.....

I tried my best to act normally, despite having my heart beat extending the normal rate.

I looked at him for a few seconds and then turned to the policeman and asked if he was his nephew.

After confirming that he was indeed his nephew, I asked Ava to hold on to the snacks and stood next to the policeman.

The young man greeted and asked us to sit in the back seat.

Both of us sat inside and Ava said the address.

As the man started to drive, the policeman turned to us and asked in a very serious manner, "Are you not afraid that we will not do something to you guys?"

I looked at him and smiled gently, just the way he smiled, a fake gentle smile.

"I know that you are from the police department. I once saw you in the police uniform a few days ago, when I was going to the supermarket near to the police station.

You were scolding my juniors for their unruly act."
