Goosebumps

I immediately got up and stared blankly at the person in front of me, it was Aidan and there were two maids with a knife in each of their hands. Aidan held the key to open my door and looked at me with a worried expression.

"How are you? Are you okay?", he asked in a concerned voice.

"Sorry?"

I acted as though I didn't understand what he was saying.

"What happened?"

I looked at his worried face and sneered in my heart.

"You come with me, we have to stay together until the mess is cleared."

He grabbed my right hand and strode towards the main door.

I couldn't free myself from his grip, so I let him drag me towards the camp.

On the way, he tried to keep his characteristic of being a perfect boyfriend material by saying that since it was an emergency, he had to get the key from the head maid and unlock the door. He apologized for coming in without her permission.

I said that it did not concern me, as it involved saving me. When I asked what happened, he said Jason will explain.

All the people had a petrified look on their faces.

As soon as we reached the camp, I saw Jason hurrying to our side and asking Aidan if everything was alright.

When Aidan said that everything was alright till now, Jason sighed and started to explain the situation with a black face.

"Someone called Aidan and said that he will receive the best birthday present ever and hung up. We thought that one of his friends called as a prank and decided to meet them later on, but all of a sudden, a dead body was thrown on the ground.

After that Aidan got a message, 'Since you played for too long, it is time to be played by.'

When the butler called the bodyguards who were standing far and guarding us, he found that none of them were alive.

Then we remembered that you were at the mansion, so Aidan asked two of his maids to take the kitchen knife for protection and had to drag you here. It is safe if all of us are gathered in one place. We can depend on each other. What do you think?"

Jason asked in a low shivering voice. His cowardliness could be seen with his trembling body.

I nodded with a shocking expression and asked, "Why don't we call the police? What if something else happens?"

The face of all the people changed instantly, as though they didn't want the police to involve.

I know why. Aidan and his men were criminals and were scared to wit's end.

"No!", Aidan lost control of his emotions and shouted at me.

I jerked and hid behind Molly and timidly looked at Aidan, who looked at me with red eyes.

Jason stood in front of us blocked Aidan's view.

*smirk*

Jason will find it different because he never knew of Aidan's crime. So, what will he do?

I want to watch this play till the very end.

Aidan snapped out of his psycho state and looked at me apologetically. I moved a little to see Aidan and found him looking at me regretfully and I shuddered and hid behind Molly, who stiffened due to Aidan's angry voice.

"No, sorry. I was quite stressed. I was once framed and arrested by the police. Though they let me go saying that I was free of charge, I was traumatized.

Whenever I think of the police, I always feel anxious.

Sorry!!!"

He bowed his head slightly and looked at us with expectation in his eyes.

Naturally, Jason and Molly comforted him with all their might, but only I know that his crime is big enough to sentence him for a lifetime.

Of course, I had to act along, or else I might become his next target.

I went along with Jason and Molly and comforted him.

He took advantage of the situation and hugged me tightly. I felt suffocated, but I couldn't move, rather, he didn't let me move.

I patted his back to ease his tension and let him relax.

Sensing my movement, he hugged even tighter. I hit him a little to know that he was suffocating me.

He finally let me go and looked at my teary eyes, caused by his suffocating hug.

"I am sorry, I was too emotional...... I just remembered my past."

He sighed as he apologized with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

Jason hugged Aidan until he calmed down.

The butler gave us some cool drinks to cool our mood. When I drank it, I knew that the drinks contained sleeping pills.

I was 100% sure that he wouldn't dare to do anything to any of us, because almost all the people in the college know that all the four of us have gathered somewhere to celebrate Aidan's birthday. So, he wouldn't dare to bring more trouble than the one already happening.

All of us drank and sat down.

The maids were alert.

I sat beside Molly and yawned.

Aidan saw it and got up from his original seat and sat next to me.

All of a sudden, his left palm touched the right side of the face and forced me to lay on his shoulder. I was sleepy, so I didn't bother if the human pillow was Aidan and slept.

Though I slept, I could still hear the rustling sound of the plants and could feel the icy cool breeze.

I only wanted my eyes to rest a bit. My senses were all active from the start till the end.

After we three fell asleep, I heard Aidan saying the maids to bury the body. He asked all of them to be safe and ordered them to never let us know about his secret and by chance, if either of us got to know, then, they will have to pay the price.

The butler immediately called for backup and informed Aidan's dad about the matter.

After discussing for a long time, they started moving, to do their work.

I felt something touch my forehead. His finger was cold enough to freeze me to death. I shivered unconsciously and moved a little, showing that I was uncomfortable.

He immediately asked for blankets for all of us and gently caressed my right arm, using his right palm.

I felt goosebumps all over my body, but I restrained myself from showing it out.

I was sure that he must have thought that I cold due to his icy hands, so he didn't touch me anymore.

After knowing that he won't touch me again, I decided to close all my senses, but all of a sudden Aidan came close to my ears and spoke in a hoarse voice, "There is much more time for me to dissect you. I wonder how beautiful your body will look when I dissect you."
