- Two weeks later - I watch as Alexander gets off the horse with that strange elegance a man of his stature should not be capable of. I lean over the wooden fence while he hands the reins of his horse to one of the stable guys, and he nears me. "Hello stranger ." Alexander calls as he offers me a gloved hand to shake. I looked down at it, and shook it without giving it a second thought, half a smile curling on my lips. "Hello to you too, stranger ." I answer with a little playful tune to my voice. "Haven't seen you since the summer ball. Your little girlfriend keeps you all to herself lately, doesn't she ?" Alexander asks with a biti of a mocking tune to his voice.
