Chapter Three Cold winds cut across the wet wooden deck. The Fishing Crew sway and stagger as the large fishing boat pitches on the rising swell. A rogue wave smashes heavy against the hull sending out a rainbow, cast in the early morning sun. It dashes quickly through the turbulent air above them, then soaks everything below. In the distance the magnificent sky line of the city embraces the frozen, bright white, shoreline of the huge lake. “Come on people. Pick it up now! We are loosing our ground, keep working the hooks.
