“Milord” One of the guards walked towards Harold and ignored Rayne since he was dressed in a commoner cloth and not many people could recognize the king except his closest ally.
“We need five horses that are well-fed and strong,” Harold explained to the guards. He threw a pouch full of gold coins to the guard. The guard caught the pouch in time and bowed his head deeply.
“I will bring them to you now, milord." The guard replied, his eyes lit up in joy at the huge amount of gold coins given to him.
The guard left them to prepare the five horses. Some minutes later, he came back with five healthy horses and handed them to Harold and the men next to him. The guard bowed his head before leaving them to stand back in his position.
