Morning at Orentus City on Aeyor was early evening on Dormero Station, and Alcina Massio was dressed up for a night out when she stepped into her father’s apartment.
“Dragunov has arrived on Aeyor,” she said once her father had realised she was there.
Massio nodded. “Has our source any other news? Has Dragunov encountered any difficulties?”
“Not according to Johnson’s message. Dragunov was taken to see Lieutenant Chamir, but he left a little while later, without even a single shadow; Grafto apparently told Chamir to let him go. Johnson heard him give the order, but he doesn’t have a clue what Grafto’s up to.”
