They all look at each other and finally nod in agreement, though Kai and River are still glaring at each other like they want to continue the argument later. Zane moves to the right side of the bed, positioning himself at the edge so he can wrap his arm around me from that side. Kai takes the left side, mirroring his position. River looks at the space left and realizes there's no room at the top, so he moves down to the foot of the bed and curls up there, wrapping his arms around my legs instead.
"This is a very weird sleeping arrangement," River mutters, but he sounds amused rather than annoyed.
"Shut up and go to sleep," Kai says, but there's no real heat in his words.
