Raven's POV
I'm so scared that my whole body shakes violently in his grip, my scalp burning from where his fingers are twisted in my hair. The pain is sharp and constant but it's nothing compared to the terror flooding through me.
"I'm not going back to the pack with you," I manage to say through my tears, my voice breaking on every word. "Please, I'm not going back there. You can't make me."
He laughs, the sound cruel and cold. "Dad will be so happy to see you again. He's been asking about you, wondering where his precious adopted daughter ran off to. He'll be thrilled to finally get justice for what you did."
