Raven's POV I swallow hard and force myself to stare back at Liliana for a few seconds before turning away. My whole body is covered in cold sweat now, my hands trembling as I grip the edge of my desk. The classroom suddenly feels too small, too hot, like the walls are closing in and stealing all the oxygen from my lungs. "Raven? Are you okay?" Emma asks beside me, her voice filled with concern as she touches my shoulder gently. "You look really pale. Do you know that girl?" I don't answer her because I can't form words right now.
