Kai ended up carrying Raven in the car despite everything he said about rejecting her and not wanting her. Yes, he's being a complete asshole right now but his wolf is doing a damn good job of making sure he drives him absolutely crazy with need and guilt.
I can see it in the way his hands shake slightly when he touches her, in the way his jaw clenches tight like he's fighting every instinct screaming at him to claim her.
