Raven's POV
The moment the lock clicks into place, I hear Kai's roar of fury from the other side of the heavy steel door. His fists slam against the metal so hard the entire door shakes on its hinges, the sound echoing through the small cell like thunder. The vibrations run through my body where I'm still pressed against the door, trying to catch my breath and slow my racing heart.
"You little trickster!" he yells, his voice raw with panic and rage. I can hear his alpha power bleeding through even with the thick barrier between us, making my wolf want to submit and obey. "Get the hell out of there right now, Raven! Open this door before I break it down!"
