Kai's POV
"There's no time for chit chatting," I snap at the old man, cutting him off before he can explain more about this beast. Right now I don't care about the history or the why. Right now I only care about stopping Zane before he kills someone else. "Something has to tame him. We need to restrain him now."
I turn to the guards standing around uselessly and let my alpha power flood through my voice, making it a command they can't refuse. My eyes flash gold and I feel my wolf rising to the surface, lending me his authority and strength.
"Get me chains," I order, my voice echoing through the foyer. "Not regular chains. I need them laced with Nightshade poison. The strongest concentration you have. It's the only thing that will weaken him enough to restrain him without killing him."
