"You need to block the bond and shove every thought against him," Kai says, his blue eyes dark and intense as he stares at me. "Think about me. Only me. I don't want him barging in here feeling everything I'm about to do to you. Unless you don't want this. Do you want this?"
"I do," I say quickly, nodding. "I want this. I want you."
"Good," he says, satisfaction filling his voice. "Now go to the bed and lie down. You're still wounded and I don't want you standing for what I'm about to do to you."
