“Sam, Seth just called to tell me Aiden’s parents won’t be able to make it to his wedding.” Linda delivered the message, and Samantha stopped what she was doing to look at her. Her expression held that of shock and wonder.
She blinked at Linda. “Why? I mean, it’s his wedding after all. They should be in attendance.”
Linda sighed and shook her head. “Seth truthfully told me that Aiden’s parents cared more about profit and reputation, and that’s the reason they can’t come just because they haven’t finished their business trip in Europe yet.”
