Sleep took over my senses, and I was soon taken into a dreamless land with that question still lurking inside my head. I felt a movement next to me, which woke me up, but I maintained my labored breathing and pretended that I was sleeping while my senses heightened, I heard the shuffling of the blanket and the creaking of the mattress, and soon I heard the movement of clothes and the soft footsteps against the floor, and finally, the door opened and closed. I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the dark ceiling above me. The space where Alpha Alvarez was sleeping a while back was still warm, and his clothes were long gone.
