“Alondra,” Aunt Francesca gently lifted my chin so that we were at eye level. “I am your family now, and this baby,” she said and placed her hand on my belly. “Should be your only concern till it is born,” she said, and I nodded my head.
“You are right, Aunt Francesca,” I said.
“Okay, so why don't you take a shower and come downstairs for breakfast?” she asked me, and I nodded my head, and Aunt Francesca soon left the room. I stayed in bed for a couple of more minutes before I got up and went to the bathroom. After taking a nice and long relaxing shower, I wore a flowing dress and a pair of flip-flops before I left my room to go and have breakfast.
