Chapter 5

Madison's pnt of view

I woke up later in the evening to Daniel sitting next to me with his laptop on his lap. I look around for a 

second thinking maybe it was his condo but realize it's my apartment, so confused I asked what are you 

doing here and how long have you been here? He then turns to look at me as he says I haven't heard from

you in days, I was worried and I find it hurtful that you think I would have anything to do with the attack. I 

can however understand how you would feel after that happened but you didn't even let me explain myself

Addison told me you remember your attacker which is great news to hear but not great knowing it's 

someone I have worked with and trusted  for years. I found you on the ground by a tree that night I would 

never under any situation hit a woman, I didn't want Addison to tell you this but I almost killed one of the 

men in question out of anger after I saw what they did to you. If not for your sister I would have gone 

after all of them one after the other. Now that I think about it I should have just done that, so the news 

about Leo wouldn't be shocking anymore. Mind you I rarely trust people with my family or the company. 

says Daniel as he gets up and walked to the window. I saw fear, panic, pain and anger in his eyes and I 

know in that moment he meant every word. This news was really eating him up inside and I was the cause 

of such news, I got up walked to him , took his right hand in mine then put it on my heart as I said I didn't 

tell you because I saw how close you two are am not going to be the reason your relationship end , I was 

going to let it go because I wasn't sure it was really him in the flashes at the balloon. However was it clear

I was scared for me but also worried about how this news would affect you.

A few days after the  news about my memory was out, Sanchez had me and Channel coming for a 

statement, then the case was officially under investigation and taken to court.Leo Marshal is officially 

charged with kidnapping, r**e and assault . Did I mention Leo was arrested and then had to bail himself  

Oh and  I am back to work again so happy,

 Daniel and I are doing great with our work and relationship now, he comes to pick me from work

when he can. We go out like every weekend now, by ourselves or with the group.

The investigation is over now the trials begins, the first trail was basically an introduction of evidences and 

the case. The second trail is the important part because I am testifying against Leo that's in two months. 

Third party's pnt of view

Leo is on trail for him crimes but that didn't stop him from having Madison followed to know her routine.

after a month a following her, he had the same men try to kill her by pushing her car off the road while 

she was heading home to Daniel from work on a night she worked late. She is left to die with her car

 flipped over off the road as the pick up truck drives away. Daniel is werewolf and he likes to run in the 

woods not far him condo, goes for a run in full werewolf mode, getting close to the side of the road 

Madison is, he starts to smell gas, he immediately changed back and raced to the smell. He instantly 

reconnaissance the car and knew it was her, pulled the door open that's how Madison saw the golden 

brown eyes and canines nine then passed out of fear. He picks her and takes her to condo, then calls the 

family doctor and the group....

After the doctor is done Daniel asked him if it's possible to move her to a different location. He advised to

wait the night first to see how she does , she was doing well by morning so Daniel moves her to his cabin a 

few miles away from his condo. . After about two days of sleeping Madison wakes up and is informed that 

she needs to stay at her location for bit, just until things calm down says Sanchez as she was ready to 

leave. A weeks  later a burial is held to make Leo believe Madison is die as a result the case is closed

and he is free. 

Daniel, Sanchez, Peter and David do their investigation of the car accident, the attack in the forest and 

investigate Leo himself. Within a month of the case being closed they found all the evidences needed 

to put him away. The case was officially reopened when Madison went to meet Sanchez again for a 

statement at the station. Leo didn't have time to plan because he was arrested right after, he was 

taken to court however based on the evidence his bail was denied. His trail was set for two days from 

his court day.  

Leo was found guilty of kidnapping, r**e, assault and attempted murder, he was sentenced to 15 years 

in jail, along with associates who were cut trying to leave the country. 

One year later Madison and Daniel finally moved on in their relationship and are officially getting married.....
