Chapter 20 Rose : Petulant

I am totally wrapped in darkness and everything is wrong, feels wrong and unfamiliar, except his smell, the only familiar thing, I can hold onto.

I feel so tired, of the anticipation, the chase, seeing Grey,seeing Father and not being able to speak to them, to say goodbye.

I don't know where I'm going as I give myself over to the drowsy feeling and welcome sleeps heavenly kiss.

I slowly open my eyes and is met by unfamiliar surroundings. I am in a king bed, yet again, but this time, the splendour and the size of the bedroom is beyond what I could ever dream of. The room is painted in different shades of blue, the pillars surrounding the bed,gold and white see through curtains draped all around the bed. It is all so beautiful, that I forget for a moment that I was taken, taken from my home and all I hold dear.

I don't know how long I have been sleeping, but it must have been for a long time, for me, to wake up in this bed.My fingers gently slides over the white satin bedding, the feel is exquisite. No one is in the room and as I get up I notice with shock, that I don't have my own clothes on. I wonder who undressed me and clothed me in the white cotton night gown?

I'm about to get up when a women enters with a tray of delicious smelling food and as on que my stomach answers with a growl of hunger. I haven't eaten in forever and I am starving! The food smells divine and I have to really control myself not to grab the tray and start eating like a mad hatter! Although I'm starving, I will not eat this food! Maybe they will let me go if I don't eat?Yep I think hunger strike it is.

I get up and throw the food on the floor like a petulant child throwing its toys out of the cot! Please do not get me wrong, I hate to waste good food, but I'm a desperate girl and will try anything to get back to where I belong. The loud bang of plates and glass breaking, shatters through the room and leaves the the women trembling in fear.

She bends over and immediately start scooping up the broken glass. I feel terrible and bend down to help her. As I scoop up a piece of glass it cuts deep into my palm and instantaneously blood drips over the floor and on my white nighty.

Its as if a trigger went off in the women, she starts to shiver like a leaf trying desperately to keep pressure on my hand to stop the bleeding. I don't know why she is so frightened, it's only a cut that can be mended. A couple of stitches and there I go. I say this to her and that it's only an accident, but the women will not listen to any reason as she mumbles words in a language I do not understand.

The door to the room opens again and momentarily I forget about my bleeding hand and the crying women next to me. Walking into the room is a demi-god, perfect in every way, shape and form. I think time just stood still as my eyes feasts and travel over his ruggedly beautiful handsome face. Square shape face, dimple in the chin, beautiful delectable full lips, straight black hair, falling over his forehead and a body to die for.

He does not move a muscle as he takes in the scene in front of him. The women immediately falls to her knees and starts talking to him. I don't know what they are saying, I just know it's not helping as the man's facial expression changes into a cruel snarl. He even looks sexy with that look!

He walks slowly towards us and as he is nearing I notice he is taking off his glove on his right hand. As he is moving forward the woman is retreating. I wake up from my stupor begins to ramble off that it's all my fault and that I'm sorry and that the maid had nothing to do with this mess. "Just call me clumsy ", I say in a sweet voice with a sweet smile, hoping my charming smile can disarm the explosive situation.

It actually works as I notice those steely black eyes putting their focus on me. He says something to the women and she basically runs from the room, making sure she stays as far away from Mr. Sexy.

I'm left alone in the room with him, however he spins around and without saying a word leaves me in the room all alone.
